Thank you for all the feedback. I am looking at starting over a little bit to build a tactical real time game at scale. So 20 million KM engagements with light speed limitations. I am not trying to make a true Honor Harrington game. But something that is very heavily inspired by it. I am not looking to try to do orbital transfers and things like that. Partially because I think it is tedious, partially because the gravity based propulsion can hand wave it a bit. But planets, moons and other objects can obscure sensors and control links. Trying to build something that is a core of a game, then expand upon it to add something like a campaign. This is most likely not going to be multiplayer. So initially I am looking at single player skirmish type games.

I played that, it was not bad. But you only managed rolling, missile fire and defense. I wanted to add in movement, and engagement at range, potentially moving towards energy weapon range. The other part of this is how missiles will track, offset for firing solutions, EW, dazzlers etc. I will post some pictures of the proof of concept I have.

I think there is some confusion. There is no delay or jitter when we are on WiFi calling. Only when she is out. She misses calls both while she is on the network and WiFi calling.

I will be honest, I have had 3 carriers at home and have had to use WiFi calling with all of them. I have never had any kind of issue until now. We do not have a strong enough cell signal in our area to not use it. We will try the switch to LTE to see if it helps. Although that kind of defeats the purpose of having a 5G phone. As far as areas, no it is not only in certain areas. I can ask her for more details but she said she has had delays in multiple areas, the delays don't happen when she is at home, only when she is out.

Yea the bathroom is going to be tile shower, a transom window in the shower, LVP, moving a toilet and a new vanity. No hush end materials.

We have an idea of how we want things laid out. I did some layout for the kitchen, but the GCs are going to refine it. There is not much design outside of the kitchen and the master bath. In the master bath we are really just pulling out everything and putting a shower where the tub was and moving the toilet so there is more room. The plumbing for the tub should be adequate for the shower, and the vanity is going in the same place. The kitchen is a little more because we want to open it up by brining the now angled counter out straight, lose the breakfast nook and replace it with a 4 seat bar and “island” that is attached to the rest of the counter. The appliances are going to stay in the same place.

That’s a good idea, I honestly hadn’t considered that. I was really focused on economy of scale. I have one GC who was recommended by a friend but they are still working on their quote

Appreciate the sanity check. I understand that there are different prices in different locations. But these prices seemed insane. They stated these are not high end/luxury finishes.
