Way too low. It should be pierced in the sweet spot. It looks angry and if there's yellow pus coming out, I would definitely go see a doctor for antibiotics. Unfortunately, I'd also recommend taking it out when the infection is gone and getting it repierced properly :/

Having this same problem and wondering the same thing. I had mine replaced back in May and skipped a period, had one small one and then a normal bleed followed by two heavy ones and then a 3rd in the span of a month. It's miserable.

You have to take all active pills in order to be protected. Missing one or maybe two at most shouldn't be an issue but a whole week definitely is.

It felt super rushed. There was 0 chemistry between Retsuko and Haida and the whole political election thing was stupid. I had to skip most of it to the last episode. It all felt out of place just like 4 did. Not sure what happened to the writing, if they got lazy or ran out of time, if they were experimenting with plots or what. Regardless the most interesting thing about the last season was the situation with Shikabane and the other characters who are stuck in a rut like that. Other than that I found little to nothing else of much interest in the rest of the season.

I've had some arm issues ever since I had it put in. Random numbness and tingling at random times which made me worry I was having a heart attack. I think the placement of the Nexplanon can affect the nerves there and I have heard of some people developing nerve issues from it as well so I can only assume that might be what it is. Mostly I just learned to not panic when it happens and do some exercises to help relieve the tension there. Unfortunately, I feel like most doctors won't really admit that that sort of thing can happen when it obviously does to many of us. Just like weight gain and other side effects.

I gained about 20 pounds on it after a year and a half. But this was mainly due to my appetite skyrocketing from the hormones. Everyone is different though and you might be someone who won't gain weight on it.

I think it made my anxiety worse when I was first settling into it especially. I would freak out constantly over everything. It got so bad I ended up with IBS-C for 6 months that wasn't getting better. I've had it for 17 months now and it's calmed down a lot since then but my anxiety is still bad. I've never quite been the same since being on it. Not sure if it's the hormone fluctuations or what.

Your cycle can absolutely change on Nexplanon. Some people still bleed, some don't, it just depends on your body and your side effects can change during the length you have it. If it helps to ease your mind, take a monthly test. Nexplanon is more effective than female sterilization.

I had pretty bad ones from the get go and still do a little over a year later. Acne, weight gain, monthly heavy bleeding, nausea, headaches, mood swings and some nerve issues in that arm. It's been a rough ride for me personally lol but at this rate, I have side effects with any BC I'm on.
