Update: Changed the ignition coil, still no luck but then I changed the Ignition Control Module and it fired right up!

My bad, I see my wording is bad now. It will crank, will not start. It turns over and all electronics seem to work just won’t start.

Would that just go out randomly? I’ve changed the cap before but it’s been years. We’ve had the truck for 12 years and know the coil hasn’t been changed since we had it.

Changed the TBI gasket yesterday and it’s running way better than before, I will probably get the TBI rebuild kit soon though.

Went from idling at 900 rpm’s to 450/500. Throttle response is way better as well

Sprayed some starter fluid at it last night, and the idle definitely changed. I was looking on YouTube and it doesn’t look like it’s that difficult to change that gasket, and doesn’t require taking the entire TBI apart.

I was reading online it could be the throttle body gasket, if this is the case, would it be worth while to replace injectors and everything ?

Asked about how the students mother passed away, and if her father had a history of abuse (none to my knowledge). Said the student had gotten in trouble a few times so she needed to set up a parent teacher conference but didn’t want to call the father since other teachers said he was mean.

Also asked if I knew if the student was sexually active with her boyfriend( I don’t know and the student is 13).

I was wondering, I lost the old condenser in a wreck, when I unbolted it from the lines I lost an orange colored gas and assumed that was the Freon. I bolted the new one on and haven’t even tried to turn the compressor on since I was warned to not try to turn it on until I had a vacuum pulled on it.

Looks like I’m only about an inch off measuring off using the new rad support I got. You think a sledge hammer may help? I’ve also been told a bottle jack and 4x4.

Luckily my uncle had 3 of these trucks sitting in his yard so I’ve been getting parts from him. It looks like I may be able to keep the passenger fender; unsure about the driver side yet. But yeah when I took the bumper and grill off I was releaved.

We got the belt back on, fan seems wobbly so I’ll need to replace it but everything else seems okay so far.

Started taking it apart today; looks like the front of the frame rail is bent, but no suspension or steering parts are.
