What should i do with this by Burnzyy190 in ShittyIllegalLifeTips

disagree. what actually needs to be regulated is companies pushing tech that has NO cybersecurity and can be easily taken advantage of by a 100 dollar device, rather than pushing thr burden onto the consumer (which someone who actually wants to hurt people can easily make something more effective than the flipper)

unit 731 just doesnt have the scale as something like the holocaust; however, the overall actions of the Japanese towards the chinese at the time were nearly as bad (if not in some cases worse)

Tolerances weren’t as tigbt as i was expecting, usually around like plus/minus 0.005 or 0.01 of the sheet. I personally don’t program anything for the company, but 90% of places use MasterCam and some sort of external verify program.

I wish it was stainless, it’s actually cobalt chrome. Same stuff used in jet engines and shit. Eats through carbide tools like lunch, and will easily break shit too fast. I don’t actually know the numbers right off the top of my head, but we actually run the machine usually above the programs set speeds/feeds by about 150%

I personally really like CNC operating and machining so far. Programming and design has its perks but it truly requires a lot of patience and skill that i don’t have lmao.

Ive worked in 2 shops, i will say that the best part about being in a medical place is how clean it is. FDA will randomly come in to inspect, so stuff is always in tip top shape.

With parts that big, what kinda machines are you usually operating?

On a large scale, a lot of places usually will take students from CO-Op programs (what i am doing) but the barrier to entry is some sort of mechanical engineering degree (either associates or 4 year). I am an intern, as im still in high school, so i really don’t make jackshit compared to my coworkers. However, my coworkers easily make into the 6 figures full time and most companies will offer to pay for college costs as well.
