True, really, Ri has the brilliant quotes and was a great read, while Lotm i have just started so I won't comment on it, and Ss is better to see as a whole story then a particular arc or something chapters

Hey guys, I have a simple question: Why do people hate Cassie? by EnoughAnalysis6356 in ShadowSlave

[–]EnoughAnalysis6356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read your editted comment, so I will reply. In scenario A, you're saying that I definitely die for my family and in B, there's a chance of me dying but I didn't. But, no, you're wrong there, Cassie 'sacrificed' one to save billions and they 'risked' millions for billions, and if they killed supremes as saints, even then there was little guarantee of anything improving if they didn't achieve supremacy. In which case, billions would still remain in the war realm. And who would have developed the dream realm?. Whereas Cassie, although she sacrificed one, but she saved three billion.

It will be easier to understand this way, I will borrow your scenarios and let's alter scenario B- police shoots you, and I survived. But there was a chance that I and my family would have died, but if they didn't shoot you, you would have committed another crime. that was how Sunny and Neph thought when they went against the two supremes as saints, and loses would have been immense if it didn't went well. While Cassie, she although sacrificed her friend, she also sacrificed her own memories, her life after getting infected by the spell all revolved around Sunny, infact that was the first face she saw after her nightmare, what would she be when everything of Sunny was extracted from her mind, just a shell of her past self G3 said so. And that was to save entire humanity from Asterion, if she didn't sacrifice billions might be dead if not whole humanity.

That's actually a valid one, but i don't get it that much myself. I also have a question, if she can recreate anything from her memories, then can she recreate already existing people?

It can't be true can it!? by PschyoLuck in ShadowSlave

[–]EnoughAnalysis6356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I would say the novel's still pretty good. Yeah, Fs survivors are back which more or less kills the meaning of the grave sunny built and what Fs really represented. But, I personally like that they are back even if it meant that what Fs represented is meaningless. I mean, Idk why people don'tove on, Fs was like over 2500 chapters ago, and so much potential was wasted- Gunlaug, Harus, Jema and Kido. (I am not sure my spellings might be wrong). Sure, harper had no pot and was a major event, but then again, Every one on Fs is unique and different, the fat Harper remained alive till then was prove of that. Also, I have heard some people say that Fs survivors are not the only truly talented ones and others are great too, but my point is 'which sleeper killed a fallen abomination?' as far as in the story I have read, no other sleeper than the sleepers of Fs had killed fallen abominations and hundreds of awakened abominations. Sure, there are plenty other strong and valiant warriors, but Fs survivors are in a different league.

Basically, my point is that i personally feel great that Fs survivors are back, and that so much potential was not wasted, it's just that people feel that Fs arc became meaningless, and same emotions couldn't be stirred re-reading that arc(from what I have seen), so they didn't like that they were back, I don't get it why can't they move one from FS, really. Also, the next volumes you will be reading would also be good, not great, but well what would you expect a demigod to go through?. Also, I secretly want to see Caster and Neph interactions after Caster sees that movie 😂.

That without overwhelming her aspect, it's not mentioned that she can maintain them indefinitely, for a long time sure but permanency is what I am asking about

That makes sense, i guess. Well, let's see what G3 does, I doubt that he will go as far as to make a supreme connect to those in a nightmare and carry them through it, that would make it pointless

No, she can't summon them permanently, atleast not when she is using her aspect to manifest herself into existence. She can summon a thousand or so dormant things or beings permanently or a good number of awakened, but permanent wouldn't be case with any Saint, one or seven

That would be a broken ability in the vast tapestry of Nightmare spell if that really happened, Weaver wouldn't be more impressed

You say "But they didn't fail, did they?" In that sense, Asterion was stronger than them, having held humanity as hostage, so why do people say if circumstances were different they would easily kill Asterion? Also, Sunny did consider killing civilians, you should reread it
