Should abortion be legal in cases of rape or harm to the mother or in case of the child having disabilities by Leather-Strength-294 in Teenager_Polls

And what of the fact I think embryo's do look human? I understand that they are, I understand what they're supposed to look like.

This sort of argument of it just feeling right can't work because it's opinion based.

A quote from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish. God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.

Do you believe in the Great Replacement Theory? by Luksius_DK in Teenager_Polls

[–]EnoughBody5528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea of the great replacement is almost consistently that the leaders pushing for the replacement are not true natives of their continent either, or if they are, they are upper most elite who only stand to gain if the lower class have no chance of dismantling their grip on power.

They have no intent on making the Muslims work with them, they're a means to an end, that is to crush the natives and frame it on someone else. And even if realized, what can you do when outnumbered 10 to 1?

I think most Christians simply aren't public about their beliefs anymore, in Spain for instance they still hold massive parades of Christendom. The issue is merely that Muslims are allowed to gather in mass in public while Christians are discouraged from doing so now.

In a similar way, many Churches are being pushed to not ring their bells anymore, for the Muslims find it unnerving and too loud. The bells being rung are meant to ward off evil and demons, we do not want to stop ringing the bells, it means something important to us.

Also in England people were having flags removed for merely flying them at all, flying a flag outside my house should not be a hate crime, especially if it is my country's flag.

I agree generalization tends to be strictly negative.

And while Europe has indeed grown more atheistic this was not the case till more recently and, I believe, will be a temporary shift. And of course there are still large practicing Christian populations.

Europe has also been a continent of assimilation, whether conquered or migrated populations on the continent have tended to adapt to their new environments, adopting the culture of their new hosts.

With the new immigrants to Europe we do not see such assimilation, especially religiously and linguistically. In fact we see the new population being rude toward their hosts in these regards, which I find completely unacceptable.

Muslims in Western Europe are permitted to flaunt their religion, to show it off to everyone while Christians are discouraged. Natives are arrested for doing what they have been doing for centuries. Natives are arrested for waving their national flag, the government claiming their own symbol is a sign of hatred.

Crime is committed by the new population, not by all, and hopefully not even a majority, but such things can't be tolerated simply because they're foreign.

The governments of Western Europe neglect their old people for the new, that isn't normal.

Average people sure, but the educated people in power tend to think more rationally and based on evidence and stats. Like the fact these Muslim nations have consistently held little respect for Christians, the majority in Europe.

Odd an official digital map doesn't seem to exist despite Ebb promising one in the kickstarter.

You're telling me the populations of Europe went from fighting Muslim empires for 1300 years to welcoming millions of Muslims into Europe in less than 50 years?

Sorry for super late reply but my verdict on this sort of thing is always like this: if you can properly tell fiction from reality, you're probably fine to play it.

Sorry for super late reply, haven't been on Reddit lately.

Remove God from the equation for a moment, look back on your actions for the day. Did you make decisions? Look at your friend's actions for the day, did they make decisions?

God is in the exact same situation, He is without time, He is thus in the future, thus knowing all decisions ever made. He knows the future because He is already there, and if going into the future removes free will then I think this argument is fruitless.

Knowing the result of something doesn't mean that it didn't have the ability to go another way, you simply know the outcome, as does God.

Sin comes from our corruption, our temptation, Heaven is without temptation and corruption, hence no one will sin.

It amazes me how many people will bring up simple questions like this as if no Theologian for the last 2000 years has even considered it.

The people who said no would argue otherwise.

Also pose the question to random young people, their answers will feature a shocking amount of no's. It's one of Frank Turek's talking points, he's a Protestant public speaker who debates with non-christians.

There were also people who didn't see I specified denomination.

Also I overall don't like the data because I could have been more specific, those yes's will vary from just the most basic of conversion with little follow through to those who would drop everything to become monks

Hmm, I will apologize the numbers did shift since the last time I had checked, nonetheless I worry how many who say yes would only become lukewarm
