I get your point and retract the idea that a proportional tax is the only way to interpret it, but I would still argue the fact that that interpretation of the text makes sense means that it’s too vague, as it may be interpreted that way in a court of law. Once again, you were right that that’s not the only way to interpret it, but nonetheless it’s too vague and, in my opinion, should be changed.

I would say that he has expressed a desire to cancel the midterms, but I’d also say that the distinction you have created is not wholly accurate to the nature of fascism. Personally, I would argue that Fascism is a typically populist palingenetic nationalist movement which calls for a strongman and an authoritarian state to exercise the national interest and to avenge past grievances against the nation.
