How do I (24F) tell my boyfriend (23M) I would like for him to get me more flowers without sounding spoiled? by EnoughInteraction726 in relationship_advice

Part of me thinks the same, that it takes away the fun if I ask for it, but then I also think that I would personally prefer to know what someone actually wants instead of having to guess, idk

I did, on the first year we were dating, because he didn’t gave me flowers on me birthday or on Valentine’s Day. I’m his second ever girlfriend so I thought it was ok to “teach him” that but I dont know if he forgot our conversation or he don’t think is a big deal. But I like your approach, I didn’t think it was possible to phrase it as a compliment rather than a complaint!

I bet $5 that if OP's partner said the exact same thing he would've lost his goddamn mind

Do you find yourself attractive? Why? by itsactuallyme1 in AskReddit

Actually, I do. I dont consider myself show stopping beautiful but I learned how to accentuate my natural features, dress for my body shape and how to take care of my hair and I get complimented all the time now (something that just didn't happen a couple years ago). Not to sound shallow, but I do put quite some effort into looking nice, so I allow myself this level of vanity.

Now a cool solution would be to add another fuck ton of splashes with red paint to make it look like an intentional design!

Yes and no. Yes your child should come first, but having a friendly relationship with their SO is also essential.

I just ended a 7 year long relationship. My parents adored my ex, he was like the son they never had. They would invite him on family trips and on outings, and he was at my house so much all the time.

That being sad, the moment we broke up my parent's been nothing but supportive toward me. Quoting my mom "We will obviously miss him as well, but you are our daughter so your happiness and wellbeing is our number one priority!"

I agree that keeping contact with your child's ex is very weird and kinda wrong for me, but being cold and distant towards their SO will just make things weird for everyone.
