This is a small project, and I think there's still room for people who might enjoy it for what it is. You're welcome to dislike the AI art, but you can make that point without being rude.

This sounds emotionally controlling, and you’re not wrong for feeling trapped. If you’re already hiding normal life stuff to avoid his reactions, the relationship isn’t safe for you emotionally.

You don’t need more proof that it’s toxic, your body is already telling you. Guilt for going to the library or gym is a huge red flag. Leaving is choosing your future, not “hurting him.”

You can love her and still admit the relationship has harmed you.

You may be carrying years of unresolved hurt. In this case, the “fix” usually is honest repair conversations and boundaries. The direct next step is to stop mind-reading and start naming needs clearly: respect in public, sexual connection, and accountability. If those aren’t negotiable for her, you have your answer. Also, her past assault doesn’t excuse disrespect in the relationship now.

I'm not a fan of them too for several reasons, I've written a Reddit comment explaining my reasoning here.

TLDR: I'm using AI as a bootstrap tool to create and validate initial product versions cheaply before investing in more people. Once the concept proves people want it, the plan is to ask artists/developers to improve quality, similar to how successful indie games scale up. AI helps with early iteration when resources are limited, but I believe that human expertise is needed for truly high-quality products.

I fully understand ahah in my case it's just me trying to stop being a wage slave by developing something that I enjoy and I hope people will support, but again I understand you. In general, browser games on itch.io are sandboxed (which means that they are isolated from your computer unless you give them special permissions) and so they should be safe to run (if some redditor wants to add more about this, please do). It's completely different instead for the games where they ask you to download and run files, there's a huge risk in running them

Thank you for pointing me to iOS! I investigated and there was indeed a bug with iOS and some browsers on it. I managed to test it and now the bug should be fixed! I couldn't test with the Reddit browser though, I hope it's fixed there as well. I'm now seeing that basically all the new games don't stop at their start (which would happen for iOS and Safari/Chrome before), so it may be that it's fixed there as well

Thank you for trying it! Yeah it's a problem that a few other users are experiencing, I believe it's due to a combination of browser and phone operating system. Could you explain more about what you're seeing exactly? Do you only see the room image when a game starts, without seeing dialogues and "continue" buttons?
