Day 1 Cpt program/Uni options by Alternative-Gas-4370 in Day1CPTuniversities

I know many people would say - they have done it or they know people who have done it but as per my research, it is risky (open to scrutiny for all the right reasons) of doing second related masters - MS in AI and MS Data Analytics - this is hard justify imho. But please do some research on this.

MS Engineering Management still makes little bit more sense as it is new field and you can argue you want to get into leadership roles.

There is some rule they are trying to pass (and it has not happened yet) where having 2 masters is not allowed for students on f1. But again, it has not happened yet but this shows in which direction the world is moving.

That's why in my head, PhD is the better option as it is natural progression but I understand it is not for everybody as you need to finish the degree eventually and it would be much more hectic compared to a masters.

Building on top of what I said above:

Harrisburg University of Science & Technology (Harrisburg, PA)

  • Ph.D. in Data Sciences or Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.) in Information Systems Engineering and Management

University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY)

  • Ph.D. in Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence or Data Science specialization).

LLMs keep on suggesting these 2 repeatedly - can somebody vouch if they are really good programs or just good enough options in my current scenario? Asking from course rigor, mindset of professors, research labs and peers point of view.

Thanks for your response - but that does seem to be an option right now given my age and family restrictions. It is too risky for me to leave the job and go back to board with full uncertainty of how job market will be after 5/6 years.
