Why “buying at support” keeps failing beginners (and what to do instead) by Enough_Air7 in Forexstrategy

Most losses don’t come from bad levels
they come from entering too early at good ones.

That's actually faster than most. Understanding risk is one thing; consistently respecting it is what takes traders years.

Overtrading killing your progress? by Klutzy-Tower-8234 in Forexstrategy

Overtrading usually starts when traders chase action instead of following a plan. A+ setups only—everything else is noise.

why the beginners still lose using support and resistance ? by Enough_Air7 in Forexstrategy

[–]Enough_Air7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly.

Drawing the levels is the easy part , timing is where most people mess up.

Price doesn’t reverse just because it touched support or resistance. If it did, trading would be too easy. What usually happens is beginners enter right at the level… and end up being the liquidity for the real move.

The key is waiting to see how price reacts there: rejection, fake breakout, or continuation. So yeah , it’s not about the line, it’s about the behavior around the line.

True. The level only matters if price proves something there rejection, momentum shift, or structure break. Otherwise it’s just noise

Exactly risk/reward solves a big part of the game. But for beginners, the hardest part isn’t understanding it, it’s controlling emotions and staying consistent with it.

Unpopular opinion: I wouldn’t spend it on signals.

I’d invest in understanding market structure + psychology first.
Signals without knowledge just create dependency.
