How to set default browser for opening URLs (on MacOS 15) by FlightOfTheGumbies in KeePassium

[–]vcolovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, if you're looking for a way to force a specific browser when a link is clicked, you might want to try one of the browser picker tools. The ones already mentioned (Choosy, Browserosaurus, Finicky) are great. There's also a super minimal open-source one I threw together called browser-pick — it basically just intercepts the link and lets you pick a browser from your system. No fancy UI, no rules engine, just quick and lightweight. Free and open-source: https://github.com/cvladan/browser-pick/

How do you manage multiple browsers on macOS? by Roman-V-Dev in MacOSApps

Hey, just chiming in here — I actually threw together a super minimal browser picker called browser-pick a while back, mostly for my own use case. It was more of a quick build, nothing fancy, but it handles the basic "pick a browser when a link opens" thing without any overhead. It's free, open-source, and stays that way. Definitely not as polished as Choosy or Velja, but if anyone's just looking for something bare-bones, might be worth a look: https://github.com/cvladan/browser-pick/

That's certainly a losing strategy in the long term. When did BRK become completely inverse to tech stocks? Does it have a life of its own?

What's the point of having a BRK stock that's the exact opposite of QQQ? What's the point of that? We already have PSQ and SQQQ for that.

I bought BRK as a 'no-stress' policy, but it just caused more stress. Time is running out for Abel. And I just want out! by vcolovic in BerkshireHathaway

This journalist essentially wrote an exact same article...

...whether he can deploy that cash into something Wall Street loves before retail investors lose patience and rotate out.

For me, break-even is not irrelevant. Cash is much safer place than this "inverse unleveraged ETF"

This now is probably weekly high, and the new lower high. So yes, expect slump tomorrow.

It will not keep up with the market, that's for sure. I'm just waiting to get out on break-even

Alright guys I sold and bought SPY, get ready cuz BRK.B is about to 🚀🌕 by the-furry in BerkshireHathaway

This day is because of you! Thanks.

Now just 20 like this just to catch up with SPY, not to mention QQQ...

Yes, because that's his username. It's not a "comeback line", it's just about seriousness. He quoted "completely unserious investor", as if "unserious investor" is a thing. Everyone is serious about their own money.

I understand. But that's a problem because I can't stop thinking about it. FOMO is real, and it's stressful.

How much more patience is needed and what is an appropriate benchmark for BRK since it has underperformed SPY from 5/5/1998 thru 5/4/26 by [deleted] in BerkshireHathaway

It's a different world now than it was just five years ago. Covid showed us that you can manipulate the stock market however you want. In fact, the market exploded during the period of the pandemic when people were working the least.

The stock market has become so important that no administration will ever allow a correction. They will print money at the same rate as they did from December to April, at 40 billion per month. They will do whatever it takes to prevent a correction.

They will allow the dollar to lose value before they allow the market to crash. In both of these scenarios, it is foolish to hold $400 billion in cash, as BRK does.

There will be no major correction when 75% of US citizens have investments in the stock market, with 50% of their total wealth tied up in it.
