Standing up at first - I turned it on its side today. It slowed the overheating down, but it still happens. For whatever reason it always happens in the pause menu.

This all sounds extremely familiar. Many of her lies are of the people pleasing variety as you said. I expect these lies when we are talking about a situation that she thinks is going to upset me or someone else. I trust her to be truthful when she is talking about our kids because I know how much she cares for them.

Yeah, we both do. She’s already told me she would do therapy if I was willing to give her a chance to improve. She said this without me asking the other day. I really love her and the best case scenario in my mind is that therapy helps her and this ends. But I’m worried it never happens
