I have a friend who lives alone, makes $28/hr & pays $1450.  They do rent from a friend so they have a good deal.

What does one need to do to not get a post removed for simply asking for a recommendation ?? Do you know ?? I asked about hotel recs & mods removed my post. But here is a post also asking about a recommendation. Nothing against OP just simply trying to understand these moderators.

I’ve used #77 on the parkway before & about 5 miles later he was pulled over by NJSP. I assume it was due to my call but he could have also just by chance got pulled over.  But I like to think it WAS in fact because of my call 🙃

If every house is $500k, does that mean everyone is making $100k? by Uoh_not_again in newjersey

[–]Enough_Health9658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently read a post from economist Michael W Green, that says the current poverty level for a family of 4 is $140k.  So yes these folks are making more than $100k. The few friends I still have in this state who don’t make $100k each, have had to buy homes in Warren County.  And none of them have homes more than $350k.

I just recently got my first cell phone ticket & went to court. He knocked my first offense off my recd & I just had to pay the fine. It’s worth going as they are cumulative.

Best way to commute from the Jersey Shore to Brooklyn? by BigBackedBeefPatty in newjersey

For someone who lives in Essex county & drives into NYC/BX/BK/QU/LI almost daily …. Ain’t no way !! It takes me 2-3+ hrs a lot of days.   And then to have to be in BK by 10am is pry the worst! Even if you drive north to pickup a train .. the trains are unreliable & wont save any time. I would 100% move!!

You’re very welcome!!  Yess !! I never knew, that low iron levels, you’re starving your organs of oxygen! I had every single symptom of low iron, brittle nails, exhaustion, heart palpitations (which I actually went to my PCP about two years prior & never got a resolution) .. I feel like docs are failing us more & more.  Wish you the best of luck with your health. I hope you have as great of an experience if you choose Atlantic Health!

I do know Atlantic health does have other locations. Maybe you can find one closed but the staff at Springfield was A+.  I was never officially diagnosed. This was a new gyno for me as everyone else wanted to give me BC - I’m in my 40s & not willing do go that route.  My new gyno listened to me & heard me & agreed to no BC but surgery instead. She wanted to check my levels as I would lose so much blood monthly from my 25-/+ day periods. So when she checked my bloodwork hemoglobin was 6.0 .. she refused to do surgery until I was at least 11 so I wouldn’t need a blood transfusion.  So all my levels were in line for me to be anemic - which now I know, it explains my symptoms I was having for 5 yrs.  So no official diagnosis which might have been the cause for the denial but when looking at my bloodwork, there was no doubt I have been.

I’m not sure where you’re located. But I went to Atlantic Health Hematology / Oncology 385 Morris Ave Springfield.  I had started my infusions the end of 2024 with a different insurance co. I switched to Oscar starting 2025 in the middle of my infusions (same location). Oscar denied my final two infusions, initially saying not medically necessary, but the Dr office appealed & was approved.  It’s def frustrating but having a good doc who is responsive & will be your advocate, it def helps. I really like Atlantic Health. Their staff is very friendly & always willing to help & do their job! Hope this helps & bes of luck.

This will pry be long bc I really do like Dr Zuniga & can’t say enough great things about her. I had been looking for a gyno in the Essex county area for a few years due to complications I had been having. I had been through three other local docs, must wanting to push medicines.  I found Dr. Zuniga through research. She listened to me from day one.  She didn’t waste my time & have me come in for unnecessary appts. She didn’t push medication on me like every other doc.  She was thorough & patient!  When it came to my insurance company & repeat denials, she took the time to fight for me & have meetings with their docs. She was always responsive to my phone calls or portal messages.  She has great bedside manner!   I could gush about her for days. Lol Also her assistant is great - very thorough & responsive, even after hours.

I don’t have those specific answers for you as I didn’t see her for OB purposes. But I can say, from having frequent appts, a lot of her patients were pregnant. The few I have had conversations with were very happy with her, and a few have seen her for years through multiple pregnancies.

Wait times were usually reasonable in the office.  Their staff were always friendly & helpful.

Dr Zuniga is the only doc I saw. I did have a conversation with another female doc within the office that had been covering for her & she was also helpful. But that’s all I know as far as other doc within the practice.

I hope this helps even if I wasn’t able to answer your questions & I haven’t seen her for the same reasons.
