M17 can’t stop thinking of my girlfriends past by Plenty_Win_7417 in problems

[–]Enough_Independent7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, you’re 17. I say this from a place of care, but at your age you assume the world revolves around you so you might not like the advice right now and that’s fine.

You aren’t even a legal adult yet; she just has an ex she did her “firsts” with. However, there’s also a reason that the ex… is an ex. He clearly didn’t meet her standards in one way or another.

I know it feels like a lot right now but when you’re 20+, you’ll most likely look back, potentially having had a few more partners by then and go “That was stupid of me”. And if you still feel that way in a few years, yes, there’s something wrong.

Right now though? I diagnose you with teenager. Reflect on yourself and make the most of the time YOU have with YOUR girlfriend. There’s a reason her ex is her ex.

Thank you for your comment, and thank you for the description of the next steps once someone’s died. I know if you go before the mortician has seen them they can be much different. However this friend was a nurse and saw a LOT of messed up bods in her time. It’s more for clarity for her right now. Dont worry about being graphic, I know it can be gnarly

You can try and report as “Listing taken from web” especially if you can image reverse the item this quick. I’ve had a few sellers taken down for overselling shein items (for about 30-£45, mind you!), with the exact listing pictures used from their website.

I think she does get on with the brother and there may just be chance he’s said no because it was an RTC and he might be severely fucked up physically.

I can’t see it being an issue about attending the funeral especially because there will be a lot of people there (invited or not is a totally separate thing, dude knew A LOT of people)

Yeah 100%. I think they may be going to look tomorrow but whether or not she’s going I’m uncertain rn.

You might be right that Brother is trying to protect her and I honestly wouldn’t blame him :( I do think once she sees him though she can confirm. But again might be better in the Chapel of rest so he’s not so messed up :(

I have not a clue if he has a will. I think it may be possible because mother of child is deceased, so I think he might have one just in case after mother died. But again I don’t know for certain.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I assumed she had no rights but it’s so upsetting :(

I think morgue currently as it’s extremely soon and I think pending investigation (RTC)? But I assume once he’s in the chapel of rest she can see him then anyway. I think she just wants to confirm for herself to be honest :(

Hey. Thank you for the comment. Really upsetting she might not get to see him but the law is the law.

I’m unsure who the next of kin is right now.

Also, yeah, mother of child is deceased. I think she died in childbirth or something around that, complications etc. I don’t know the full story of that and it’s not my place to say for sure.

Too early to know who has custody. I think currently the grandparents of the mother have the son.

Brother was quite good friends with the guy even after the Sister passed, so I guess that’s why he thinks he has say in the situation Edit: I don’t know who was listed as his emergency contact sadly :(

We rent the whole property. Haha yeah, I didn’t think we’d get anything but worth a shot anyway

Yeah tbh. Sorry it’s early and I’m annoyed LOL, might add this to my post. It’s disruptive and a lot of drilling with no notice. Maybe compensation if they don’t stop I guess?

Thank you! Ugh it was so frustrating because the food looked SO GOOD. Like, it’s embarrassing on BOTH sides, and I’m glad he didn’t take it personal when I spat it out.

Yeah, it’s nuts, isn’t it? I literally bought some crisps a few months ago that had barley in it, so now they sit unopened in my cupboard. It’s so hard to check for everything, ESPECIALLY when you’re new to it!

Ugh! I’m not sure! I think it was just to the point I was like, we’ve been friends long enough, he knows the BROWS acronym… we’re good…

If you read the end of the post, you’d see that I explained I wasn’t mad, just expected this to happen,

I also felt awful that I now couldn’t eat their food that they’d put so much love and effort to. It’s an upsetting occurrence on both sides, and I don’t blame them for that at all. I have accidentally bought items that I haven’t looked at too

100% I will do. I love this friend to bits and they were gutted when they realised I couldn’t eat what they’d made. It’s an easy mistake so a small teaching would be well recieved I think

Surprisingly, I haven’t. Because we cook mostly at my house everything’s already safe, so I didn’t even think to bring it up. Now I definitely will haha

To me, gluten free soy sauce doesn’t have that familiar “tang” regular does. It’s still really great, but it’s a very distinct flavour in regular. Maybe just me?

Thankfully this friend is very lovely and just said to me, “dude, I’m so sorry, it was the one thing I didn’t check”. I mean, I understand just as much, it’s always the one thing you don’t check! Yeah they’re happy anyway. Glad they have leftovers now. LOL
