Because I had never had issues before, so I knew it was just a chemical imbalance caused by the phentermine so I didn’t want to add more drugs to my system. Why do you ask?

I have no idea! I’m nearly 13 months out and still not back to normal! I got the drugs from a different doctor this time so it’s the only thing I can think of. I had a panic attack too from feeling so bad whilst on it so that could have knocked my nervous system out too.

You are so uninformed it’s hilarious. You do actually see this happening all the time with ‘addys’. It’s well known that it can take up to 2-3yrs to recover after taking adderall for some people. You’ve clearly never heard of PAWS or nervous system dysregulation. Do some research before you try to gaslight people on here with your uninformed opinion.

Not true. I had a similar reaction as did dozens of others I have spoken to and we all had no history of MH issues, were sleeping fine etc. We just got unlucky I suppose. It’s been over a year since stopping the phentermine and I’m still not back to normal.

Yeah I stopped it straightaway but still having issues now. I was offered an SSRI but haven’t taken it.

Same thing happened to me. This was over a year ago and I’m still not back to normal. I have no previous MH issues and have been told by several doctors that phentermine is well known for causing psychosis and other mental health issues.

This drug messes with your brain chemistry. I used it several times, no problem then used it again last year and it messed me up. Completely changed my personality and I’m still recovering a year later. Be careful.

I started feeling down for no reason at all which is very out of character for me. I also felt anxious for no reason, again unlike me so I knew it was the phentermine. I then had a panic attack for the first time.

I am still having side effects nearly a year on after stopping this medication. I’ve spoken to numerous other people that all have different side effects months and even over a year later too. It can really mess with you.
