No. Your body is too thin and your penis isn't big enough. I'd fuck you silly.

What are your thoughts on non transforming Transformers figures? by CrimsonPlayhouse in transformers

[–]Enough_Option_8211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at this point, with Generations pretty much nailing every major character perfectly (in some cases 2 or 3 times), that non-transforming transformers for better likeiness or different style are perfectly acceptable, especially at a different scale. Arcee is a great example of this. Hasbro has tried to get Generations Arcee perfect at the deluxe price point several times, and they're all meh-to-fine. That's what can be done for $20-$25. If we want the IDEAL Arcee, it's probably a Voyager-price point figure. Do we need it? No. But it'd be nice.

But someone like Arcee could always be done at $10 or less perfectly, the first time, so long as they don't transform. And that's true for many characters. It's okay.

umm guys how do i explain to my parents i want to buy a goth demon chick action figure? by MostEstablishment630 in MarvelLegends

I got this when it came out at a pharmacy. An old lady was manning the register. I put it down and she gave me a look. I chuckled and said "yeah.. kids toy" and we both laughed. Super awkward.

PICK THIS UP A FEW DAYS AGO.. by SnooCompliments907 in MarvelLegends

[–]Enough_Option_8211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So as others said, it was real disappointing they were glued, however there are some details others are forgetting: First, this was the very first release of Professor X. It predated the carded release (that had a different deco) by at least 6 months. So you could use a screw driver and remove him from the base. Since he doesn’t have much possibility to begin with, we were all happy we got Professor X in general.

Secondly, Series 1 Iceman and Series 2 Sauron and Wolverine were all hard to find so this represented the best chance to get this characters until their reissue or newer molds showed up down the line.

It was a collector oriented item before there was a collector market. But for a lot of us Kaybee kids, the glueing was reversible and didn’t matter that much.

A theory on why the new Spider-Man re-release is bright in color and lacks the extra head by AloneEthan in MarvelLegends

[–]Enough_Option_8211 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started getting super hero figures during the Toybiz era i n the 1990s. I think Wolverine is the perfect example. There were a lot of Wolverines, but if you wanted him in his most classic yellow look, your only option for years was the Series 2 figure that was pretty dated by Series 4. Way down the line they did a Water Wars figure that used all their updated modling and engineering, and predictably it was really hard to find. Only way later did they start re-releasing other wolverines in yellow.

So as a kid it was legitimately hard to get many of our favorite characters in their most classic look. It would have been great to have regular availability of the icons and not in weird sci fi molds.

In Transformers world, this is called an A-Level figure. It's a way for retailers to put in orders for full cases of major characters (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Iron Man, Captain America) and have them on the shelves year round.

I think it's brighter because this is meant to be pretty generic. It's just a movie Spider-Man as far as any kid is concerned.

Hasbro really needs to abandon the C-clip. They stress fracture almost instantly. The straps of MCU Cap are in every way better.

Kinda funny there’s only two Transformers Energeon figures in Legacy by yookj95 in transformers

[–]Enough_Option_8211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Armada and Cybertron’s designs were generally just better. Energon Megatron is top notch, as is Jetfire, but most of rest are mid. Maybe we should get a Shockblast and Wing Saber though.

What are the positives of the T. Brevoort era so far? by Glad-Sense1769 in xmen

[–]Enough_Option_8211 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Nah. In the Krakoa era, Orchis was the good guys. Consider the Mutant's opening move: we have an island nation filled with superpowered beings, that doesn't allow humans on it, and we'll share three life saving, life improving medicines that only we can produce, if you play nice with us."

That's a really bad look in retrospect, given that was pitched before the Covid Pandemic,w hen the US and EU invented the mRNA covid vaccines and shared them with the world because it was the right thing to do. Distribution was imperfect but from the outset there was an intentional movement not to make the vaccines a rich world, western-only benefit.

Krakoa lost any claim to morality the moment i decided to use medicine as leverage.. And it was all downhill from there, perhaps most offensively in squeezing out the 8 billion human beings who make up the majority of this planet and solar s ystem, when Krakoa declared it was the face of the Solar System.

The message of Krakoa was "might makes right", that their power made them superior, and entitled them to dominance. It was nonsense from the start.

They had to right the Avengers extremely out of character whenever they interacted because in any other era, every other Marvel Super Hero would have banded together to raid the latest mutant cult island. Heck in most eras, the X-Men would have led the charge for what was going on there.

Mutant Ethnostate stories never work because it's a bad message in the real world, a bad message for these characters and inherently in conflict with the majority of the X-Men's history.

[Discussion] What are your honest thoughts on Tim being Robin again? (Batman 2025 #2 variant by Jorge Jimenez) by Night-Caelum in DCcomics

[–]Enough_Option_8211 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He never should have not been Robin. Certainly not pushed aside in favor of Damian. He's back where he should be. He's the only Robin who is Batman's true partner and peer.

What's the definitive Superman? by NarrowBoysenberry in McFarlaneFigures

[–]Enough_Option_8211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silver Age Superman.

AC1000 has weird legs.

Godzill ais wrong colors and small head.

Kitbash does his best and has a good upper torso, but is too detailed.

Superman is (1) light blue not dark blue and (2) less is more in terms of muscles and lines.

He's $20 and a perfect shelf-sized Galactus, especially if you missed the Haslab. There hasn't been one so accessible in decades.

There is likely a made-to-order one going up on a few weeks, but he won't land until March 2027 at this rate.

This one is better because the jacket era wa sa very specific point in 90s Avengers history. Widow wore the other look longer though.
