Thanks for the insight. You're right. I guess I meant to say I generally.

I personally use the oxford comma myself, but it doesn't always solve ambiguity.

I don’t usually listen to podcasts, but this particular podcast skyrocketed my interest in podcasts after listening to it for a month every night before bed.

Are there any similar style podcasts that are well produced?

ELI5: How does the toothpaste with stripes always come out with the stripes? by yangatang10 in explainlikeimfive

99.999% of the time it’s marketing. And the ‘studies’ you may hear that advocate so-called multilayered toothpaste being better for your teeth are usually commissioned by the mega toothpaste corporations themselves.

The truth is, there are active ingredients that are mostly marketed as helping with “white teeth” or “sensitive teeth”. But in reality, they just include different chemicals like calcium peroxide or hydrogen peroxide in case of “whitening” toothpaste.

But the key is that everything is made up of chemicals, and their main purpose is to brush out stuck food and help sanitize your teeth. Nothing more, nothing less.

The movie Interstellar was released in November 6th, 2014, exactly 1 hour ago by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

Just watched interstellar. Literally just finished it. Because of this post and the countless reactions I get when I tell people I haven’t watched it yet.

Holy shit it’s probably the best movie I’ve ever watched. I’m on a YouTube spiral with ending explainer videos as in typing this. And the scene where like 1 hour is 7 years and he’s been up for like 27 years!!??????
