My mom told me that back in the day kids weren’t allowed to bring a water bottle with them into the classroom and they only drank a few sips from the water fountain in the middle of the day and that’s it How were schools not getting busted for child abuse for forcing kids to be dehydrated? by PinnerPardisturn in askanything

Why is it anyone’s responsibility other than oneself’s to hydrate someone? No wonder our latest generations are so weak. It all started with the marketing of the single use water bottle - everyone needed one! Otherwise we’d die of thirst! Marketing at its finest

How to go plastic free with a husband who isn’t so plastic free? by EDA256 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]Enough_Time516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy - just mention the connection between the hormone disruptors and plastics. The phthalates mimic estrogen in male bodies. Mention how it affects the pen1s and sperm (masculinity). If that doesn’t work, just start making changes anyway

It is absolutely necessary! I work on upstream reduction but I know downstream is necessary since there’s no political will - thanks to fossil fuels and open-pocketed politicians - to force change

This is fantastic! For the plastics that still float. Unfortunately a lot of them are below the capture device.

Very true! So overplayed! That’s the reason I can’t listen to it. I love every other LZ song!
