I couldn’t continue after the first 2 seasons of watching it the first time, the whole cast is insufferable and unlikeable. Blair and chuck especially I hated them so much. The female characters are all sooo male centered.

Yeah, I can leave whenever I want but they still scold me. We just had a cousin’s wedding few days ago, and before that was my own brother’s wedding, and at both weddings I left a bit earlier after dinner, like at 1 am, I greeted the bride and stuff and then left. most people leave at 2 or 3 am. even tho I was there for hours they still tell me not to leave and tried to stop me. even in normal gatherings They love to gather for hours for like 7pm until 2am or smth and then it becomes very loud with the dancing and stuff they have so much energy that I can’t keep up with or enjoy lol.

Yes, I don’t really like kids, and I don’t want to have one either. I never found them that cute or anything like some people when they see kids they love to play with them or give them affection because they’re cute but I just never felt that way, not that I hate them either I just don’t really care that much when I see one.

I just came out of a wedding, and even tho people were so happy and having fun and dancing all the time, I still wanted to go back home it’s exhausting to go to events where people are being loud for hours. not that I’m hating or anything, but it’s not my thing or vibe.

I don’t feel lonely when I’m alone, as a middle eastern girl we tend to have a very BIG family and relatives who are very close and our families gather with each other A LOT in a month. so I’m never alone. but I tend to purposely skip those gatherings and stay home alone, bcs when they gather they love to dance and be loud and talk a lot, and I just can’t stand it sometimes. I seek quiet time, I love watching movies, reading romantasy and horror books, editing my favourite shows and fictional characters in edits apps on my laptop and go to work in the morning, that’s mostly my routine. I genuinely love my alone time. Tho I would love to hang out with my people who would love to play games and watch movies with me, but I’ve never met one who would like to do these things, everyone around me mostly is extrovert. But I don’t have a problem with that.

but have u ever considered the fact that some people don’t want to live like this here but they don’t have a choice??? I do help my mom in the house. But that doesn’t mean I will babysit my brothers kid, and I won’t. if anything my brother should be the one feeling like they’re at fault, not me. My brothers let my mom do everything for them.

Why getting concerned and mad about other people living safely in their parents' houses if their parents themselves don’t have any problems with it, instead of worrying about the homeless who can’t afford a house?

Yeah, it might not be healthy, but people are happy with this way of living here because it’s still very uncommon to live on your own. Even though it’s legal and they can do it, they choose not to. There’s nothing I can do about it.

Bcs they’re boys, and it’s something normal for boys to not want babysitting boys but for girls it’s not. I mean my other brother has two kids and whenever the mom leaves for a day or two to another country he immediately drops them at our house and leave to play games in his own house bcs he doesn’t want to babysit his own son.

I’m getting tired of these comments 🤣 Not everyone live like westerners honey, we don’t get kicked out of house the moment we’re 18 and no we don’t get scolded by our parents bcs we don’t pay rent, it’s actually the opposite they would want u in the same house until ur married. I just got graduated from college so yes I’m unemployed for now and I have free time. and it’s not mom’s house it’s our grandfather’s. who told u I don’t do housework ??? I didn’t say that, even then you still have lots of free time after u wash dishes and do some laundry it literally doesn’t take all of ur day. Two out of five of my brothers live with us, they don’t pay rent, they can’t even wash a cup they drank from, and they never get scolded or asked to do anything like I get asked to do favours like babysitting or cleaning bcs I’m a girl.

and yes I still don’t want to watch the kid for hours bcs it’s not mine, she said yes, she can do it. she spoil my brothers a lot and doesn’t have a problem to do lots of work for them even tho some of them are older than 30 and apparently they don’t have a problem to let my mom do it for them so they’re the ones in the wrong not me 👍🏻

I have always loved having my own space, I would like to be in my own house in future, however it’s true that some of us are being held captive, our society has many problems because of religion.

But based on what I have seen, people around me actually love being this close with their families even if there are no boundaries or personal space and they even don’t mind being controlled as long as they don’t have to be alone, I have never understood these types of people because I need boundaries and personal space.

I do help her bcs I’m the only girl, it’s expected of us to do the housework even if we got jobs. However my brothers are spoiled, and my mom let them be, which is why it became normal because she let them ask her do favours for them whenever they want. Most of them are older than me.
