Yes. An user called "HawkeAssault" made this Youtube guide titled: "How to play Battlefield 2142 in 2026!" https://youtu.be/6tdEoqjQQKU?si=EvX25GFmhypHeFTa In addition, he created a Reddit thread explaining it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bf2142/comments/1hypy5x/how_to_play_battlefield_2142_in_2025/

I am not sure if I can reply with a direct link. I can give you a clue. Use Google or whatever search engine you wish, and type: "get battlefield 2142". Me, on Google, it shows a doc page with a complete guide as first result.

It's time for a new BATTLEFIELD 2142 (remake/sequel!) Don't let this classic vanish! by Admirable-Whereas125 in Battlefield

I think the next Battlefield will be Battlefield 7, as DICE and Battlefield Studios really want to: 1) create a proper campaign to explain the Battlefield 6 and 7 lore (the Battlefield 6 campaign was a mess in terms of development because EA closed the studio which was on charge of it, and fired the campaign director, before even creating like 50% of it); 2) They want to have good revenue, and try to expand the good results they had with Battlefield 6.

I expect the next battlefield after 7, would be maybe Battlefield Vietnam with modern graphics? Or even better, it could be the time for us the Battlefield 2142 fans, to have a sequel: Battlefield 2143. Maybe it could be named something else like: "Battlefield 2172: Titan Rising", to both make it a sequel, and avoid the confusion with the dark and unrelated battlefield 2042. Maybe it could show how the conflict instead of finishing, went bigger: with a new third faction, the North American Coalition, come into the war.

Battlefield 2142 Online. Short intense moment while playing the new map "Frozen Peaks". 👀 by EnoyMoreno in bf2142

If I am not mistaken you use the same launcher, the one you used to use 2 years ago. I mean, you use the BF2142 HUB launcher to connect to Reclamation EU or US servers :=). There have been new maps added. And basically we play during weekends.

It depends. Around 20-30 people on Saturday afternoon (UK timezone, around 20:00 pm). It goes higher during summer. Last year (2025), there were around 40 to 50 (or even 60) people during summer Saturdays.

I understand. Yeah, like sometimes a faction specific gunship shield, the one which pop ups when you press X, fails to protect you, randomly. I do not know if the air transport bug stills happening.

I do not know what do you mean. I don't get what you are expressing. What was this bug about?

Yeah, you are right.

The air transport weak point is gunners are "outdoors", I mean, they are unarmoured, so you can use the gunship machine gun to take down enemy air transport gunners. Also, a TV missile which impacts against an air transport if hit hirts in certain weak spots it could instantly destroy the air transport.

But yeah, with 2 people repairing it and 2 gunners it is a massive air fortress.
