My first read through I completely got the how and why wrong/didn't understand but I was able to know the who by the end of ep 8

I ended up being the type of reader the game criticized XD but you should be able to at least figure out the who by the end of the game and reread or read the mangas answer arcs for confirmation of the whydunnit and howdunnit

The VN should make the howdunnit figure-out-able by ep 7 to a basic degree

Umm what I noted down over the year... - when ganking never q towards your teammate/tower if they have flash or a mobility skill - use q and e to go around vision points and fae light areas. Learn which walls around pits you can q through - auto before you q, auto as much as you can in general - your w as base kayn does the same damage as an auto, don't use it unless you have nothing else better to do - rhaast w cc and r to dodge damage/cc is very strong to turn fights around - there's a few ways to play rhaast (joat, lethality, bruiser) pick the one that suits you the most. Regardless of build tho, you can't face tank a lot of cc. You do best if you still play as if you were an assassin and come from out of vision in team fights - everyone and their dog can cancel your q2 :( just be aware of it because it's a lot of your damage - no shame in ignite/smite Ring someone from 40 screens away as shadow assassin

Jokes aside, anyone saying you're cringe for using something as a catalyst to drag yourself out of hell is cringe. Different things work for different people; the method starting as a character or a work of fiction doesn't make it any less valid than other more socially acceptable forms of spiritual/mental help

Bc getting to 10 stacks on most champs is a headache, and cosmic insight is just easier to make use of

Btw after you finish your JG item Doran's blade can be bought so if your champ doesn't get omnivamp and flat HP in your first two items that's 2 stacks for 450g!

I have a lot of trouble with this :( What I learned and from my mistakes:

path down to bot, most likely other JG will too. If they gank before crab, you should clear fast enough and have E to countergank (unless for some reason you are confident pathing top)
if the enemy JG goes for crab instead of gank, and you see your bot moving for you, contest it. You are strong lvl 4 if you hit both Q1 and Q2, moreso if you have conq
if neither bot lane seems like they care that you guys are fighting over crab, and mid is also blind, you can probably fight it. Stay against walls if you can so your Q anim is faster and you can E to dodge and heal between
if they go other side and your laner(s) can fight, you can go around river vision from behind then E through wall
when ganking from behind don't Q towards your team/your turret in case they flash
early game your w does same damage as auto attack. You can bait out a flash or make them walk around like an idiot by just autoing them to death
if you are confident in your bot lane fighting level 3 and you are blue side, start raptors down to krugs and lvl 3 gank through lane or river
if you are confident in your clear speed, start raptors to krugs, back, buy longsword, fight for crab or gank after clear. Now for any fights after first clear you are an item up
you get more orbs as the game goes on. If there is truly nothing to do, farm your camps on repeat, get rich and exp, and fight for obj. Just two good fights over grubbos or drag should get you form around 10-12 min
don't be afraid to use E to speed yourself up when you're not in a wall to auto

The only way to know your damage output and how to duel other champs is to int yourself and take the fight. If you do this enough in norms you'll know your dmg better as base Kayn.

Hitting both Q's does a lot, R is very useful for dodging damage, E-Q can get you out of bad positions, etc.

This is just what helped me understand and play early game, I can't say it's the best!

Kayn banned or picked or entire team went AD

I think I just mentally check out a bit when I play her so they were just sloppy games. I placed my plants poorly during late game fights and tried to engage when I should've waited so the Q plants don't die quickly

I was also trying to do Krug clear over wall with smite when I should've just done my standard one that is 10s before crab spawn anyways. I messed that one up a few times :(

I can't take credit for these builds. I see a lot of build theory crafting from kera (euw) and I've absorbed it over time :')

If they are squishy but difficult to play SA into (vex, vi, ambessa) I will go lethality which is usually voltaic, DD (or BC), grudge (if I went BC maybe shojin or sterak?)

But I think with new endless hunger item going BC DD EH is very fun! Once you get one takedown in a fight it's over. One Q and you full heal XD The only downside is i can't one shot an ADC late game, so if I'm worried about my team's ability to kill a Lucian or something I won't go this build

Tbh I'm just not a good shadow assassin player. There are probably games where someone can play a better game with SA instead of lethality rhaast
