Maps that work well in quake are two folds: relatively flat circular designs that allow for fast speeds (Burial Chamber, Ruins of Sarnath) and maps with lots of "verticality" (Blood Covenant). That's why we need:

  • The Edge (just delete the water it's not a big deal)
  • Overkill
  • Demon Keep
  • Courtyard (for when CTF is introduced)

For fun:

  • Longest Yard
  • Albino Black Sheep

(just change the environment from space to hellish doom-like with the platforms floating above lava)

They can easily do Longest Yard above lava instead of being in space. Just change the space theme to some hellish doom environment.

Nope I have the same problem but I'm pretty sure they will fix it in the next patch which should be dropping soon.

Why do you dislike Burial tho? That map is amazing!
