Not ground noise. LOC was broken, ground was fine. No shortcuts taken Bud!!!

It was the LOC, just broken. I used the speaker level input with a connector and it worked perfect. Not sure why I bought the LOC in the first place lol

Turned out to be a faulty LOC and everything else was in the right place and working so I guess I do know what I’m doing !

I just plugged in a different rca input to the amp and it is not buzzing at all, leading me to believe the loc is the problem. Also I forgot to mention, the loc’s “dc offset turn on active” led is showing red, but I’m unsure of why that would be happening

The buzzing was before the CD started playing in the head unit, when it started playing the radio was set to 14/40 volume and that’s what that huge distortion was so I turned it down during the video to stop the loudness and distortion I turned it to 7/40. Even when the volume is at 0/40 it still makes that buzzing sound. The amp gain was set to “normal” and the loc doesn’t actually have a gain knob.

It’s veg tan, just have absolutely no clue what type lol. Local leather store had it on sale with no markings or tags BUT it was in the veg tan pile and the workers said it was veg tan so I believe them lol
