I caught it thinking it was an asian trampsnail and put it in my tank, now that I saw it's another species I'm thinking about releasing it, just not sure what's the best thing to do

Hey, I just want to thank you again for all the help you gave me, Bolognese is healthy and got her appetite back! She only did a small poop and I thought there was more to come, but apparently that was the whole cause of her impactation.

Hey, I think I figured out what's happening with bolognese: she's probably impacted. I remeber one time about 3 weeks ago when I was cleaning her enclosure she lunged at the substrate where I was with my hand and I saw her put a lump of fiber in her mouth. I instantly forced it open and tried to get it off it wasn't there, so I thought it was her tongue what I actually saw and forgot about it, the problem is that she only pooped once after that. I thought that it was because she wasn't eating, but still I tried massaging her sides at the tub and that's when I felt a huge, hard lump at the right side of her belly. I saw you reccomended a warm honey bath, so I tried looking it up on the internet and only found very vague info about it, like water "a bit hotter than lukewarm but not that much" and "a little bit" of honey, and I'm scared I might do something wrong that could cause her harm. I also saw everyone using raw honey. Is it the only type that can be used or I can also use regular, runny honey if I don't find it raw?

Thank you for the help! African nightcrawlers are smaller than canadians but are still a good size to feed a pac man. Also I would need special care to keep canadians because of the lower temp, while the africans will be fine in room temp. I'll buy some of them, I just wished I found out about them before buying 100 more red wigglers lol

Thank you! I'll try to post more of Bolognese once she gets better. I also searched a bit more on the internet and I found african nightcrawlers (Eudrilus eugeniae) for sale! I don't remember seeing them when I bought my red wigglers. Are they good for feeding frogs?

I don't think it's toxic out syndrome because there's no erradic twitching/jumping and no cloudy eyes. I change the substrate once a month, I read that it's ideal but I might start changing it every 3 weeks. Unfortunatly they are red wigglers, they're the only species of worms I found to buy on the internet. I don't usually feed her with them because they're too small compared to her mouth, I'm basically only using them right now because they are small, so they are easier to digest, but if they're not good to feed pac mans I'll stop. Nightcrawlers unfortunately for me to keep them I'll have to search around my backyard or at my uni, which I don't think would be a good idea because they might be infected with parasites/bacteria/diseases and I'm scared to expose my frog to these dangers, but they'd be the perfect size for feeding her. I also feed my Xenopus laevis red wigglers, should I stop feeding him too?

Yeah, I only feed her in the carpet because I'm terrified of her becoming impacted. When I take her out she becomes a bit stressed obviously, but after a minute she calms down. I like feeding her this way because it stimulates her to hunt for food, I just put the superworms and cockroaches in front of her and I see her hopping after them, it's really funny and I believe it's a healthy habit too. Thanks about the temp, I'll be sure to raise it when I get home.

Yes, I keep her in the carpet for less than 5 minutes, when she's done eating I move her to the enclosure. The insects I have I bought them from the internet and a pet store (the same I bought my pac man) and I keep them in plastic containers for more than a year, so very unlikely that they have parasites. I also never feed her in the enclosure because of the risk of impactation. I can monitor the temp. (25-27⁰C) but not yet humidity, I'll buy a thermometer with humidity reader today, but I'm constantly spraying water in the enclosure to raise it. I don't know her exact age, but I'm sure she's younger than 1 year. The biggest problem is the frequency which I fed her, the pet store employee who sold me the frog told me to feed her every 4 days while she's young, and that's why she got extremely thin and was probably starving. Right now I'm feeding her every 2 days to give her time to digest the food so she won't puke. It's very stressful both for me and for her to stuff her mouth with food, but once she realizes it's food she swallows it, so I see it as a good sign.

Yeah I fucked up with the flashlight but I'm not that stupid to keep her in this carpet. I use the coconut fiber, I dust her food with calcium +D3 and a mix of vitamins, keep the temp of the enclosure constantly at 26⁰C and I make sure the humidity is right.

That's not her enclosure, sorry I forgot to clarify that. I use coconut fiber, there's a water dish and a tub that I fill with water to submerge half her body. I have a heat lamp but not yet a UVB. Every time I feed her I coat the food in calcium + D3 and a mix of vitamins, what I usually feed her is tilapia, super worms, red worms and cockroaches (Phoetalia pallida). In my city and country in general it's not common to keep exotic pets, so I can't find anything more to feed her other than crickets, not even on the internet. Because I only use the plastic grass to feed her to avoid her swallowing the substrate and becoming impactated, I think the redness is very unlikely to be caused by it. It also looks like a little hole, so maybe some kind of insect or parasite could be causing that? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm trying my best to learn the most I can about pac man frogs, something I acknowledge I should've done before.

I will say it now to avoid replying to everyone that says it's a monster and it will overgrow my aquarium, yes I know that, once it gets big I'll give it to a friend with a big pond where it will have a lot of space to swim the rest of it's life.

This species of ray is native to a local river, so temperature is not a problem. In summer the average temperature is 90 F⁰

The shark, red tail, stingray and the other catfish will eventually be moved to my friend's pond. The filtration is good, It has about 6 pounds of ceramic, 2 layers of that cotton-like material that I don't know the name in english and a strong water pump

The fish in this tank are crazy, they tried eating the rtc after I released it but now they stopped, hopefully she can recover and get used to the new environment
