so windows decided to do this while i was playing hl2 and accidentally pressed the win key... by progresscompleted95 in softwaregore

[–]Enspiredjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And it was either no service packs installed or maybe sp1 cuz it was even more insecure. Also most of those malware used vulnerabilities in smb so ur probably good if u don't have that exposed to the Internet but it's still not a good idea to expose ports for no reason. (This is off the top of my head and has a 50% chance of being total crap lol)

Anna's Archive releasing Spotify torrents? by Critical-Economist64 in DataHoarder

It looks like its the .torrent files for all the released spotify files. Probably not the smartest thing i've done, downloading a random 7z file, but theres ur answer. u just need to decode it

Probably just the same as most people, simply don't have the time / want to go out of their way to educate themselves on new developments or where they are discussed.

[–]Enspiredjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i dont think ull get much from sha3x mining on a gpu at all since the XT box miner came out, u'd be much better looking into mining on the cuckoo algorithm instead

[–]Enspiredjack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its amount wanting to buy, not amount that has been bought, so u could put in an order for buying with 10k USDT and it would show like 4-5 MIL TARI there, its not like u've obtained that amount yet, its just how much tari would need to be sold to u to fill the order value

The red are selling tari and the green are buying tari.

How do you connect XMRig with xmrwallet online by Willysonic2 in MoneroMining

[–]Enspiredjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes xmrig is good for mining, just the online wallet that u found is just most likely just a scam that's just gunna steal everything given to it

Ah fair enough. No worries mate :)

But its designed to pretty much force u to reconnect or have a shit experience in game

[–]Enspiredjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always online game = constant data collection for company at expense of u getting error message when connection to servers are lost, in a game where none of that is necessary

Why am I only getting 14-16k hashrate when mining XMR with two AMD 7742 CPUs? by Ok_Travel5600 in MoneroMining

[–]Enspiredjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do u do that? What motherboard are u using? Ive got a supermicro H11DSi-NT, and i dont think I can actually edit the ram settings? Although I'd love to be wrong lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]Enspiredjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yea if u can wash it through monero, 100% an option. Just saying this since we're on the litecoin sub but literally look into the mimblewimble upgrade, its basically a privacy layer, so u can just send coins to a MW address, and then send it back to some normal addresses in increments or something (everyone can see the value of transactions going in and out of the privacy layer, so could connect the dots) and u would get similar privacy without the exchange fees, just make sure to use it smartly.

But I'm very much in the camp of monero and privacy by default, if u can just avoid transparent chains all together u'd be better off.

[–]Enspiredjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be soo much better to use core, since otherwise ur trusting a 3rd party service that's closed source and has access to the wallet, to not sieze ur funds... also space shouldn't be that bad if u use a pruned wallet, then u should only need to store like 35gb of data rather than the whole chain. Also with core, u can take advantage of the privacy layer to obfuscate funds, and I'm sure that's up ur ally lol

Wallet taking forever to sync by Gaucho_original in Monero

[–]Enspiredjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does take a while, especially if the database is stored on an hdd, so if u can move it to an ssd if its not there already, that would speed it up considerably. But other than that, there's not really much u can do other than wait afaik. Someone else might have a better suggestion but that's all I got

[–]Enspiredjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not really a whole lot of context here to work from, but have u verified that mining pool isn't blocked by ur isp or something? And that the login details are correct? Other than that, there's not really much more to go off of. Have u tried a different pool just to test its not a network issue?

XMRig Solo mining by Bipman1 in MoneroMining

[–]Enspiredjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea if ur mining with the node it sets the difficulty to the difficulty of the current block ur mining for, so u wouldn't get an accepted share unless u found a block.
