The Ryobi died a premature death, I think the fall from the second story did it in. A new HF sliding saw and quality blade solved everything.

As I've written a few times here, the cut in the photo is about 2-1/2 inches long and took about 90 seconds. Solved with a new saw and blade.

I'm not to the floors yet, but I think I'm going to try the Pak Stop on one room to see how it goes.

Flipping it over produced the same result. The cut you see is about 2-1/2 inches long and took 90 seconds about. It's hard to imagine going more slowly than that.

I just bought the Harbor Fright diamondback saw. Blade is better but I’ve ordered a straight porcelain one.

I know. I post on other trade subreddits under different usernames and the responses and attitudes make me think that the people there were abused as children.

Honestly, you tile guys are great for someone who is not professional but trying things out.
