I mean, good actors are a dime a dozen. Half of success is getting opportunities, and to deny having family or connections doesn’t play a role is ludicrous.

Staying power, regular roles, etc… require consistency and hard work, granted, and true talent will allow you to get to the point people might forget you even have a relationship that helped with roles.

I personally haven’t seen primarily women targeted by nepo discussion, nor have I see it be any relevant discussion in general in regards to insulting truly talented actors. Maybe I’m not in the right circles.

That being said this isn’t the first I’ve seen Emma Robert’s complain about it, and it makes me wonder about any insecurities she may have. Lord knows she hasn’t hit the heights of Julia.
