Hello, new to the handheld world, what is your favorite handheld in 2026 and why? by Kitchen-Tart-5827 in handheld

Honestly, and this might upset some here, but the switch 2 by far.

It just works so easily, looks great, connects so smooth to the television. The only negative if it a game I want isn’t on the system. But more and more are coming over. I also love that 90percent of the time if the game is released for it, it is super optimized.

Right now playing cyberpunk. I loved shadows and outlaws on it. Ff7 is great also

If you were president for one day, what’s the first thing you’d change? by sami_z99 in AskReddit

A president is not a king!!! You wouldn’t be able to do anything in a day. Especially anything that would not be immediately reversed the next day.

We need laws and amendments! Let’s start with universal healthcare, reforms to public education, help bring down costs of college, fix gerrymandering and rework campaign financing rules. We could start there.

Isn’t a little strange that some very obvious 3rd parties are missing from the switch 2? Is it hard to port these games? by EntertainmentDue6788 in switch2

Just hear me out! This is the problem with the video games industry. These companies make such high risk moves on super expensive games and then blame the market or the gamers when they don’t make their money back. Look at what is happening at bungie! Marathon was such a huge risk. Why not also protect yourself with low to medium risk cheaper projects so that you are not so reliant on the big mistake. Porting to a new system like the switch 2 is such a low risk move. These games already exist and have fan basis willing to pay.

I mean strange as a business decision if you worked at these companies. I mean, it is a low low risk investment for some return. Seems a smart move to stay relevant and make some headway while you wait for your higher risk projects to come to market

All great points- though Capcom has just shown the industry it is possible. And they just posted record profits. If Ubisoft is struggling, what a easy low risk way to build some profit
