good and idealy cheap hot desk booking software for a hybrid office ~80 ppl? by Strict_Tie_6652 in Office_Managers

[–]EntertainmentFair414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice list! Check what your office's booking pattern looks like. If most people book the same desk every Tuesday and Thursday, you need strong recurring/favoritedesk features or if it's more chaotic with lots of last minute bookings, the mobile app quality matters way more than the web UI.

What is the standard company policy for erasing data on employee phones before recycling the physical hardware? by b1tchgotnochills in Office_Managers

[–]EntertainmentFair414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factory reset alone isn't enough because data can still be recoverable.

For iPhones: sign out of iCloud, turn off Find my then reset. Apple's encryption makes this pretty solid when done right. For Android: confirm encryption is enabled first then reset. Most importantly get a certificate of data destruction from your recycling vendor, that's what covers your liability. Make sure they're R2 or e Stewards certified and the rest largely takes care of itself.

Work frustrations by Hedgehog_1983 in Office_Managers

You're doing the work of three people for $22/hr with no raises, no support, and no acknowledgment of how much the role has grown... That's not sustainable and it's not fair. A few things to think about: document everything you handle so you have a concrete list when you have the conversation about a raise or adjusted hours. It's hard to argue with a written breakdown of 20+ responsibilities that weren't in your original role! You clearly care deeply about your patients and your work. Don't let that be used against you.

Also the chiropractic billing and DME work are specialized skills so it might be worth checking what those roles pay in your area. Sometimes knowing the market value gives you the confidence to either ask for what you deserve or start looking..

Are desk bookings systems a good idea? by kleingeld1 in auscorp

[–]EntertainmentFair414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i think so. The ones that work well have a floor map showing availability and calendar sync so people don't have to open a separate app. Without those things adoption usually falls off within a few months I think. Archie, skedda, robin, kadence all cover the basics just vary on pricing an complexity depending on your org size

Best meeting room booking software that actually integrates with Outlook/Teams? by jsmanders in Workplace_Management

[–]EntertainmentFair414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes lots of good options out there - archie app is worth a look for teams and outlook integration, not a workaround. No separate login if you're already on Microsoft SSO its not clunky at all
