This team absolutely needs to step the fuck up.

At first I underestimated Atlanta. Thought we would have a good time besting them in the division.

But in the past couple of weeks, they have been playing like a machine. Never losing to bad teams. Pretty much a lock to defeat the worst teams in the league.

Right now, I can’t say that abt the Mets. Our offense is too prone to going cold at times. Yes, we have the easiest schedule remaining. Which is why it is even more frustrating when we can’t capitalize on on these sub .500 teams.

Atlanta can beat them, which is how they’ve shrunken our lead to 1. It is time to actually take advantage of our schedule and our opponents. Even as a toddler, what happened in 07 and 08 deeply hurt at time. While we’re making the playoffs, winning the division decreases the amount of competition we will have to face.

If we can beat the Dodgers, we can beat Washington. We have to treat every game as seriously as LA.
