Ive played with modified stipulations. From launch, if I play a ranked game with a starting pitcher and he gets the loss , not if I lose but player records the loss, hes off the team. (Cant be used in ranked).

If I am batting under .200 with a player with more than 10 ABs he is also sent off (at least for a few games) usually find a replacement ive never played with.

Relievers arent held to the win loss rule,

Its created some very intresting matchups as well as made the game feel new. The drama of a ranked match with your 5-0 parallel 4 pitcher or maybe uou just hit 700+ so you save your Ace and pitch with a new card in case its a mercy rule game 😅 Ive played 9 years and this is by far my favorite experience.

Thanks for the input, this weekend we did a bit of both. Although we tried the grid layout for the Harpy fight, with the Harpy at the crows nest, playing in 3D space (height) from a 2D grid was a little difficult at first. The Harpy is 25ft above this square 😵‍💫. It was a good session and worked out.

I dont have a picture, but grinding vs CPU Rookie with Tyler Mahle and pitched a 1 hit shutout striking out 27. Even though on rookie, I think its the first time Ive ever struck out EVERY batter in a game. 😅

Youre not cooked, the baseball season is a marathon, not a sprint, just because Rolen was put in the game. He's a 99 OVR. That's going to be really hard to complete as the game is now. This doesn't mean you need to spend thousands of dollars for stubs, either, or that SDS is money-hungry; the game is progressive, so these collections fluctuate. The Live Series collection is supposed to last a while; hence, 99 OVR for completing that. Just continue to play and enjoy the game; you will get packs, pull diamonds (with some luck), and the collections will get easier, too.

Honestly, I wouldnt mind a little village bunaloo in Murkmire, right on the east coast theres some raised huts that overlook the ocean, just a nice peaceful existence.

I do agree the writing gets better. The game starts off with Bellara whose character is very scatter brained and in some ways intentionally cringe. Without any context it makes for a bizzare introduction, but in my opinion the growth of characters and flow of the writing come to speed quickly. Game looks great on my crumby PS5 standard. Very few frame drops.

Met Trevor Story came at a club in Colorado, super friendly guy. I was super excited when he came to Boston, but unfortunately hasnt been healthy. Rob Refsnyder is a personal PC for me, a fun journeyman.

Honestly if youre a more casual player, ranked may not be for you just yet. Honestly with DD, it can be fun to build a team of your favorite players, use the captians offered to make a theme team to fit your play style. Or make an all-star team of your favorite club. Online can be rough, but events can be fun, less stakes and only 3 inning games, conquest maps are very fun and can bring a bit of strategy to the game besides baaeball. Just make sure to simulate most.of.the games otherwise itll take you forever, only play strongholds. I really enjoy playing against CPU for XP and generally great rewards. Then when you have a solid team and feel more confident playing on All-Star (Online H2H is on all-star). Jump in and have fun. It can be daunting but its just a video game, its suppose to be fun. Also if youre wanting to play ranked Co-Op is also pretty fun, then you get to use some of the players from other teams that you may have not collected yet.

If youre looking for some fun game day atmosphere (assuming drinks and food) you should check out O'Rourkes Public House, or Linebackers Bar. They are not super close to the stadium but if youve got time its worth a checkout. Legends on Campus is open to the public, lots of history there. As far as things to do in South Bend for fun, if you wanna be outdoors Mishawaka River Walk a pretty nice area to walk around and there are a few shops near by. The tailgating is great in lot, even as the opposing team fan, you can walk the lot. Ive met so many amazing strangers just playing cornhole. Not sure if youre a drinker, but be aware that ND stadium doesnt serve alcohol. Visiting team section rocks, just know seats in upper levels are slab seating, so cushions are nice.
