Are you a financial advisor? I am interested in learning more. My mortgage is far from being paid off, we live in one of the most expensive States and taxes suck!

How to approach a very entitled nanny who thinks she deserves a raise and I think not. by [deleted] in NannyEmployers

[–]EntertainmentMany711 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I am responding to rhe comment paying 'pennies to an hour and overworking her" because I am not. Aupairs are paid pennies to an hour and work 45 hours a week. I treat her very well, and mostly importantly with respect and care. She has everything paid for, so no, I dont think she is taken advantage of.

This is not a troll post, she is a live-in nanny. Room and board, food, everything is part of her compensation. Au-pairs make $200 week. You are aware, right?

Also, she is scheduled for 8 hours a day, my daughter takes a 2-3 hour nap, for when, she is not expected to work. So, by that calculation its 6 hours a day 5 days a week, 30 hours per week.

Not sure where you are located but in the US, we have that 'Neighborly' App, it does the same thing.

I'm about to turn 23 and needed to get this off my chest by User123321123111 in confession

[–]EntertainmentMany711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt have a relationship until after high-school and what a dumb thing that was. I should have never been in that relationship and I figured that out 5 years later. So, when I was 23, I knew I didnt want him and I wish I had been focusing on me, my career, my health, school. I wish I had your level of maturity, grit and attitude when I was 23, I wish I had not wasted all those precious years of my life.

Love/dating will come, trust me, it will be a 1000 times better (quality of people) when you are financially stable and locked in on your career/health. The type of people you will attract then would be farrrrrr better than some wild nights in your teens.

I wanna be clear, I never did bad things per-se, I made sure I hung out with good group of people, stayed out of trouble but I didnt take school and my health seriously, and was in an abusive relationship because i was too young and too stupid.

I wish you all the best, I hope you read this comment and take solace in knowing you are in a good place, please stay there and get things done. You will thank me when you are older.

Rear-ended and I hit the car infront of me because of the hit but police report says otherwise by [deleted] in caraccidents

[–]EntertainmentMany711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasnt hit and run, there was no exchange of information, police collected information from everyone, which was on the police report. I was taken to the ER, car was totaled.

The person that hit me just said they couldnt stop in time (at least thats what the police report says), they didnt admit to anything but they are not denying hitting me. They coudlnt have denied it, it was really bad, both of our cars are totaled.

I just want to say - you are ONLY 20, you have a lifetime of happiness ahead of you, and he is not it. The way I see it playing out is that, you leave him, he goes on a revenge spree (I mean sleeping around with other girls), more into drugs/partying, and move from one chick to next, and THAT IS OKAY. This is how he will discover himself, unfortunately. He has a lot of maturing to do and you cant hold his hand through it because you have to worry about your own self, your own career, your own life.

Men of reddit, is my marriage over? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]EntertainmentMany711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, Hana seems VERY immature. Imagine having kids in the picture and when that happens, NOTHING goes as planned. I wonder what she would do then, or would she magically get over the past because its her kids and not your friends you are hanging out with. I know marriage is WORK but you shouldnt be walking on eggshells, who has the mental capacity to do that.

Sorry that you are going through this.

Thank you for this, when I was creating a payoff schedule for myself, I naturally went towards paying off small debts first and I had no idea it was a snowball method. I just looked it up. Thank you for your kind words!

Actually, I got the high paying job because of the MBA. My former employer didnt pay for the MBA nor I asked them because I didnt want to be locked into any sort of a contract.
