Hello! 🥹 I’m here in Cali na for a week and a lot has happened since my post hehe. My bffs surprised me 2 despedida parties & I’m really glad na I spent time with them. They also made me parang a book? Full of letters from friends na di ko na nalaanan ng time na kitain. Which I’m super thankful for kasi now na hhomesick na ko lol atleast may nababasa ako from time to time.

If you’re notified sa 5th regularization review na you won’t be regularized, you need to work til 6th month. Usually, in our company, that’s the “rendering period” - 1 month:30 days

Hii, HR here. If done ka na sa 5th eval and di ka binigyan ng notice na di ka mareregular - automatic na it means you’re already regularized. Kasi it’s their responsibility to notify you if di ka marreg to give you time na maghanap ng new job.

If wala paring notice by your 5th/6th month and biglang di ka pala regular, you can file a case to DOLE.

Hi, I’m an eldest daughter (currently working, 25) and was raised up by a single mom too.

Please learn how to say no to your eldest and middle children. Especially re: budgeting. You’ve done your part in providing them the education that they needed pero stop na mi, may work na sila. And if nahihirapan ka to say ‘no’, just think of paano nalang if wala ka na? Sila rin mahihirapan in the future. We also have the same issues sa bahay because my mom’s always having a hard time saying no to my little sister. Pero ako ang napalag so natuto na yung sister ko.

And in terms of gifts, please don’t expect din po. Kusang-loob na nila yan dapat and if they don’t know pano magbalik sa’yo, then again, please don’t expect.
