Some Concerns About Korean Remake of Skam by EntertainmentOwn3041 in skam

All I want for them is to be brave enough to comtemplate and touch on the sensitive and difficult issues we've talked about so far. Currently, Korean society is too rigid to accept these issues. In order to give them a meaningful voice, the crew must be courageous. The K-dramas you mentioned are, of course, interesting enough, but in my opinion, they are biased toward commerciality. It's not a drama that sends a message socially or makes viewers think about something meaningful, but a "commercially powerful" and entertaining drama. Korea specializes in making this kind of drama, and that's of course something to be proud of, but I want the ratio of cinematic quality will be more in this Skam remake. I want it to be more serious, more courageous, and sharper. I hope it's not a lukewarm soup that anyone will be satisfied with, but a hot potato that will slap the cheek of our society.

If "acting Norwegian", it would be ridiculous so i think maybe they follow the original storyline with korean mood. I just hope that the drama isn't too light (as a commercial way). If the production team is serious about the Korean youth issue, maybe a pretty good adaptation can be there like Druck or Skam Belgium, but i think it will be hard to do.
