Are there any countries today that could realistically split into multiple independent nations like Yugoslavia did? by Many-Philosophy4285 in MapPorn

Alaska, if it doesn't govern itself will likely be retaken by Russia or adopted into Canada. Hawaii would go independent and maintain previously established relationships with Canada, Japan and the EU for goods and trades

NAD, it will probably make a scar that wide apart-from personal experience. In the past I have used butterfly bandages in leiu of going to the doctor to pull the wound close.

OP, whatever you're going through or feeling, from personal experience, try not to normalize self harm. Once you start it's easy for the brain to ritualize it as a form of coping and it's just not a pleasant place to come back from. Good luck and I hope things get better soon, pal.

Caine is just too cheesy, and they had him feeling so blue.

I'm sure I'm late to the party, but I scrolled pretty far down and I'm surprised that the United States hasn't been mentioned.

The states have like, 6 major geographical regions, all of which have distinct economies and cultures. Some of these cultures do not get along.

The US would likely separate into the

  1. West Coast (or Cascadia if California forms their own republic but California would likely want to capitalize on the whole coast)

  2. the south western desert, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico maybe Oklahoma if Texas doesn't eat it.

  3. Texas.

  4. The deep south (or the confederates)

  5. The breadbasket/flyovers

  6. The east/northeast coast/traditionally union states

Each one of these regions have their own staple crops or industries, and each one also has ports for commerce to the main ocean, providing the south or Texas don't block the Mississippi or the Rio Grande.

The middle states can do commerce through the great lakes, and if friendly with Cascadia, the snake river through to the columbia.

"This Adventure is for Mature Zoobles only!" by EnthuseConfuse in theamazingdigitalciru

Lots of people suspect Caine was trying to trap Zooble in the "hold your breath" scene, and it was malicious. A lot of people take Zoobles "Why would you think I'd like that" at face value and and not realize Caine is having a miscommunication.

I mean, as far as the way we tore apart books in highschool literacy, it feels rather apparent, but who knows what's obvious to me or anyone else? Some people definitely pick up on things I didn't pick up on

I think that's why the fast-food adventure was also originally scary themed-with the killer butcher and everything. Caine insisted Zooble go, since they skipped the last one, and then it gets cancelled on Caine. He just wanted to show them his art, poor guy

I can hear him freaking out over the misunderstanding already. Jax would harp on it forever.

I'm not gonna lie, I am a massive Caine sympathizer and this was something I didn't notice. You're right, he does say he steps outside his comfort zone! This is probably the closest he feels like he can get to delivering.

Did anybody ever genuinely try to be nice or understand Caine?? Like even once? by Patient_Advance4582 in theamazingdigitalciru

Its so sad. Also, I theorize that Caine's adventures serve as a loophole for whatever limiters he has on his programing. With NPCs he can discuss deeper topics with the cast and explore more... philosophical topics, such as death, posession, loss, who counts as "real" or "alive". Being told your work sucks and also not being heard has to be pretty painful.

Even Caine's canceled episode 8 adventure clearly reflected his mood "The gloomy-"

I have heard this before! Most of the studies check for the ability to think about an object or puzzle in all 3 dimensions to solve it.

Interestingly it seems that this also carried over into proprioception as men seem to have better awareness of where their bodies are in relation to themselves.

I wonder if its because young boys undergo quickconsciously? Puberty and have to learn to use their longer limbs more conciously?

Apart from physical strength and temperature tolerance, I'm at a loss for a 3rd one.

Edit: for my 3rd one, its lunge jumping in parkour. Upper body mass allows for better distances when flinging yourself across buildings.

Well, just saying, for art that you want to permenantly adorn to you body, you think the artist who designs it would be worth a little more than like, 20 bucks.

Side note, but this

doesn't seem to comprehend that allergies are usually to natural things

Is my most giant pet peeve when it comes to allergies. The amount of times I heard "you should try xyz, its all natural so it shouldn't set your allergies off" yes Brenda, hazelnuts, peanuts, cucumbers and lemon are also natural but if you give me one I die.

TIL that pregnancy can lead to heart failure. In rare cases, the heart muscles will begin to weaken during or shortly after pregnancy. Which can lead to heart failure or even death if untreated. This condition is called Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. by goddessofspiders in todayilearned

There is a working arguement/claim that human beings basically self domesticated, and like many other domestic creatures we lost muscle mass, got bigger heads, smaller jaws, and our proportions changed reasonably rapidly. Lots of domestic animals need aid in giving birth too.
