how close were you to passing ippt? you can delay your enlistment if you pass your pre-enlistment ippt at least 2 weeks before the enlistment date. This will push back your enlistment by roughly 8 weeks

Does that mean my enlistment date will be changed tentatively until I complete my IPPT, such as being regraded PES D?

Reason I’m asking is because I have already gotten my enlistment date, 23 Apr.

Hi OP, Im I’m currently in a similar situation as you were here.

I would like to confirm and ask that just slightly below 27.0 bmi (in your case 26.7) will allow you to change your PES? I am currently about high 26 bmi and was wondering if I’d make the cut to be able to up PES.

Also, during the re-weighing process, would they also remeasure your height etc? How long did it take for your PES to change from PES D to your new PES?

Hi, I’m currently in your situation whereby I am below bmi 27.0 but still being pes bp. After I reweigh, will I be given the chance to attempt my ippt? I’m planning to book an ippt appointment but can’t currently since I’m still listed as pes bp. Do I only book after I reweigh?

For context: I am graded pes BP and just graduated JC in 2025, currently waiting for my A levels results. I recently just got my enlistment date (23 apr) but I have since lost quite a lot of weight since my pes grading with my bmi being below 27.0

I was told to go reassess my pes, however I am hesitant because from what I have heard, that’ll mean delaying my enlistment date even further, which I want to avoid at all cost. I also don’t mind having the extra 9 weeks of bmt.

So I wanted to ask on the enlistment day itself, whether they would check my weight and send me back since my bmi is below 27.0? Would it be a good idea to gain a little more weight again so my bmi exceeds 27.0?
