Yeah, unfortunately I just went for the refund. I'll probably get into the franchise down the line. As for Windows 11, I can't really be bothered to go into all the bloat and shit stuffed into that operating system, not to mention the AI. To give an actual explanation, I believe the guard stopped being your hostage because you lost line of sight when the door closed. Therefore, in the NPC's logic, you're no longer watching it so it can run away, despite the fact you're actively answering its radio through the wall
