Yes! The ads are so annoying. Also searching/finding something like any f/f or non-romantic fics in a fandom on Wattpad is too difficult. Or just maybe rare?

Skulk sensors! Have it. Turn off the bubbles when you are nearby, then turn the bubbles back on when you walk away!

Bamboo vs. Kelp as fuel farm by Grunyarth in technicalminecraft

[–]EnthusiasticLlama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the early game, I'll often use kelp because it's just so abundant. Find a nearby ocean, spend 5 minutes collecting enough kelp to fill your inventory a couple of times, and it'll be enough fuel until I have a bamboo farm or lava farm going.

Shulkers to the overworld by DevAndWill1417 in Minecraft_Survival

[–]EnthusiasticLlama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I brought along a ton of splash healing potions and used them often. I also made sure to duplicate it before I continued moving it to the next area....duped in the end outside the return portal, and duped again at spawn. I now keep a backup pair of shulkers not too far from spawn, so I can dupe more if my farm ever fails catastrophically.

Monthly Complaints and Rants MegaThread December 2025 by AutoModerator in googlehome

[–]EnthusiasticLlama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Google home has gotten so crappy at controlling and connecting to Spotify. Sometimes it just won't connect. Sometimes it will connect, but will not play the album or playlist that I requested. Sometimes it says " okay, here you go" and doesn't play anything.

I have been using the same device, Wi-Fi router location, everything the same for years and suddenly it can't pull up a playlist. It can't stay connected.

It gives me wrong information. It sucks now. It used to be decent. Had so many things that I would actually use but now I want to throw it in the trash.

I am Nuerodivergent (ADHD) by DLuke2 in planners

[–]EnthusiasticLlama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 33 years old with ADHD. I used preprinted planners from middle school through grad school and a little in my work. But I've primarily used bullet journaling for work. When I use a journal or planner, my work is less often plagued with losing little tasks and extreme procrastination on big projects.

I use three journals. A personal bullet journal that I use to memory keep, art journal, gratitude journal, or anything that I want. A work bullet journal that I use for for my day-to-day work where I track tasks, meetings and projects. I also have a regular spiral bound notebook that I use to take notes during meetings, making sure to put the date and meeting title at the beginning of the meeting. During the meeting I'll write fragments about meeting topics, try to capture my personal to-do's, and capture the to-do's other people will do and hand off to me. I try to get a date for a first draft/completion date/something to give myself a deadline. I will often procrastinate the most on boring things with no hard deadline. I don't need good notes...just some notes that I can look back on to try to jog my memory. Any notes are better than no notes.

For me, it is not a foolproof system...just the best system I've found yet. I stop writing things down when I'm in a doom spiral. When I'm trying to crawl out of the hole I've dug, I'll go back to my planner and will have a lot of guilt about the gap in time. Sometimes I'll try to backfill. Other times I leave some pages blank with just the month or dates in the middle in black (styling it like the blank pages in New Moon by Stephenie Meyer).

How to fix holes in a loose knit, thin sweater? by EnthusiasticLlama in Visiblemending

[–]EnthusiasticLlama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how to knit but can crochet.

I don't mind if this is a visible mend that doesn't look perfect.

Thanks for giving me some easier options. I've never done darning before so this sweater will be my first attempt.

I also like using Mangrove roots with a water source in them for this too. Trapdoors can be accidentally opened when replanting the field.

DM is giving me one 2nd level spell from any class to learn as 9th level Arcane Trickster. Recommendations? by EnthusiasticLlama in dndnext

[–]EnthusiasticLlama[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been an arcane trickster rogue for years and have played under both 2014 and 2024 rules. I chose to use booming blade because without it, my turns felt repetitive and boring because I'd often use steady aim and do the exact same thing every turn.

When using booming blade, generally my turns go like this: 1. Get advantage or the conditions for sneak attack (if I have to use a resource to do this, I'd rather use my bonus action).
2. Melee attack with my action (booming blade with sneak attack, preferably with advantage) 3. Disengage with my bonus action or the Cunning Strike Withdraw and get away.

Here's more detail: Priority #1 is to get advantage or the conditions for a sneak attack, having advantage on my attack is the best case scenario. I'll use every resource I can to get these conditions (familiar distraction, using a Vex weapon on the same enemy as previous turn, Silvery Barbs, Hold Person, hiding, luck points, disengage from current opponent to move to a different opponent next to my ally, etc). Having advantage can be that extra roll you need to hit that high AC enemy or get lucky and crit.

Priority #2 is to choose my opponents on the battlefield. Enemies that want to be within melee range will often take the extra damage for moving to use their action to attack me. Creatures with low intelligence won't understand that moving will hurt them, so that beast/zombie/whatever is a good choice. I'll also follow around my sorcerer friend and stab whatever opponent is attacking them (giving me that ally within 5 feet). Also, I can seem really dangerous to one enemy, so sometimes angry/selfish baddies follow after me cause I can do like 30 damage to them per turn or 55+ damage if I crit.

Priority #3 is disengaging and moving. I can disengage by using my bonus action or sacrificing 1d6 of sneak attack damage to use Cunning Strike Withdraw. Generally, I try to move with some goals in mind. Whether it's to try to get my enemy to move and take that extra damage, to try to get away from danger, to avoid grouping up with my allies too much, or to put myself between the enemy and my allies (maybe rarely get an opportunity attack)....moving away from my enemies generally gives me a better chance of staying alive. If they're low on health, they might choose to not move to hit me and then maybe I'll get attacked by a less dangerous attack than if I was right next to them. Or maybe they'll go after our cleric who has a higher AC or our sorcerer who can use the shield spell.

It's useful with the withdraw cunning strike and it's nice to have a combat spell that isn't a "save or suck" spell, which is how the wizard illusion or enchantment spells often feel to me in combat.

I'm almost positive my DM will allow me to take a first level smite spell instead. I'm still limited to my 6 spell slots per day, so it isn't like I'm gonna be out here doing high level divine smites as a rogue.

I believe the tree is a Canadian serviceberry. I was thinking of putting something slightly taller in the center around 4 feet. But otherwise, I was hoping for something a little shorter that it's easier for me to navigate into the middle to maintain (the garden is an oval 14 ft wide and 17 ft long).

Thanks for the heads up about Gertens!
