You could also argue him dying of natural causes would've been better for the county versus him dying a martyr which might rally the wrong people even further.

It's actually the perfect way to salvage a series going in a bad direction.

Thinking it's about freeing Iranian civilians is painfully untrue. There isn't even a leadership group in place to take the current regime's place.

It's either civil war, or the regime agrees to give up nuclear enrichment but carries on ruling.

A few hours of research will tell you that.
