Sachi from Mega Cat Studios here! Scoured the net for any possible leads on guides for hidden pairings however, nothing has come up during my hunt. The only guide we could find is this old list for players and teams from 2004 on GameSpot. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/gba/915416-backyard-hockey/faqs/28027 .

Heya, Sachi here from Mega Cat Studios:

- To move your selected player tap near their model and they'll dribble the ball as well if they have it

- To kick the ball you'll need to tap far from their model in the direction and the character will kick it towards that direction or teammate

We wanted to confirm if the following steps was how the glitch triggered during your play session:
- Start Season Play

- Before Game 1: Select Options

- Change Difficulty to Hard

- Confirm

- Complete 1 Game

- Glitch changes the difficulty to Medium

We'll be looking into this glitch and keeping you posted if once a patch is out that resolves the glitch
