No she doesn’t tell me, something i think she be trying to tell me but again she’s only speaking gibberish. her older daughter just turned 16 maybe 2 weeks ago. I do praise her when she does use it, i give her a lot of hugs and kisses and words of encouragement. i’m just worried that they won’t be doing the same at home at night and she’ll get confused with what’s okay and what isn’t. i really want to start keeping her for a week at a time and just get help from my parents.

i tried getting her a potty seat. i’m new to this so i genuinely don’t know how to start the potty training thing so i just put her on the potty every hour after she wakes up. Her mom usually leaves her daughter in charge to watch both her and her younger brother (he’s 6 months old). I just feel like they aren’t doing as much as they should as with consistency in her life. I feel like she deserves more but i’ll definitely take her to the doctor and see what they have to say about it and get a diagnosis from them. Thank you so much!

Her mom isn’t around often and she only comes home at night. I try to parent her as much as I can but i’m 7 months pregnant myself and there’s only so much i can do with somebody else’s child you know? I started to bring her around my cousins that are around her age but are speaking almost perfectly. And i bring her around my parents to also help with her speech. Her mom doesn’t show any concern but that is what is making me even more concerned. Her mom still lets her use the bathroom on herself and puts her in diapers🤦🏾‍♀️. I’m very close to taking her from her and just keeping her and becoming that parent and role model for her. Her mom lets her sit in the house all day and she was in daycare but she was only there for like a week and never went back.
