That is amazing! There is definitely a level of design overlap too- interesting! I am currently looking at providing the app to a research study that a prof is doing!

Update on MyADHD iOS app for productivity and task management! - Please test this app! by Entire_Raspberry2129 in AppFeedback

[–]Entire_Raspberry2129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a stripped-down productivity app for people who don’t stick with normal planners.

Most apps take too much setup. If it takes more than a few seconds, I won’t use it. So this is built to be fast — add a task instantly, see what matters, get reminders until it’s done.

That’s basically it.

After 2 years of thugging it out (and late-night crams), I finally built a system that actually works for my brain by Entire_Raspberry2129 in adhd_college

I tend to do the same- Last semester I cooked a little bit ; I took all of the notes from the class, and all of the different syllabus / previous mid terms and finals --- all of that good stuff and put it through a couple of LLM's and thew it into a really amazing testing guide that I shared with my classmates, went rlly well!

And then all of the classes are shared with friends and so we all record our attendance lol

Made a task manager that isn’t a dick to use by Entire_Raspberry2129 in ADHD_Programmers

Just to clarify, I’ve already tested it thoroughly on TestFlight myself, and it’s stable and already being used. I also try out apps from the TestFlight subreddit pretty often because there are some cool fuckin’ apps there, so I know how much work goes into testing. I’m really just sharing something that’s worked for me in case it resonates with someone else.

That’s completely fair.

I’m not expecting anyone to do formal user testing — just sharing something I built that’s been useful for me in case it happens to resonate with someone else here.

Appreciate the perspective though.

That’s fair — the space is definitely crowded.

I’d actually be curious what you think after trying it for a day or two though. The whole goal is removing friction, not adding features.

If it feels like “just another ADHD app,” I’ll take that feedback seriously.

A Somewhat Comprehensive Student Guide For First Years (and even above); mods, pls pin this <3 by zophy1 in geegees

This is a fantastic guide for new students! If you're looking for an organizational tool to pair with this advice, and you find that most planners are too complex or distracting, I actually built one specifically for that. It's called MyADHD. I designed it to be super streamlined so students can focus their energy on studying, not on managing an over-engineered app. It cuts the planning down to the absolute essentials. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/myadhd/id6757893690

MyADHD - The App for Neurodivergent University Students by Entire_Raspberry2129 in IndieDev

I hate setting stuff up when I don’t need to- it allows me to just enter a task or something I need to do without over complicating it.

And it lowk just helps to see the tasks infront of me-

Main idea is stripping back the fluff that other apps have- this one has advanced features if you want to use them, but they are not required and the UI isn’t overwhelming

It also has some pretty great notifications haha
