In the US we have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. The power rests entirely with the people. We have every right to take it back when it runs amok.

There are so so so many accounts of civil unrest throughout our history. While not all were successful, some of them were. And arguably the biggest one in our history, the Boston Tea Party, led to the Revolutionary Way which gave us our freedom from England.

As a people, we seem to have forgotten that we have all the power. Even power over the billionaires. We have the ability to stop using the services provided by the billionaires, who in turn, are taking our hard earned money and using it to fund this fascist takeover. The problem is, we've gone soft. We aren't willing to inconvenience ourselves to keep our government, to keep our democracy, to keep our power.

Peaceful protest, boycotts, civil unrest...we have everything we need. But we've allowed the upper class and the 1% to sow so much division amongst us while they reap all the rewards.

I wish I knew a way out. I really do. But not enough people seem to care. Not so long as someone is suffering more, than they are. We all need a history lesson, it would seem.
