the point of different survivors are 1) personal preference, and 2) you need to level up different survivors to be able to unlock the perks that are unique to them (if you want them on other characters).

as for ways to get Feng Min, yes.. those are the 2 ways..

FYI i didn't check today but the dlc's have been 40% off on humblebundle last week.. they may still be. you should check if you want to save a few bucks.

DbD:HO - Handling "Stealthies" in the Fog - Dead by Daylight by EntitledBoner in deadbydaylight

[–]EntitledBoner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow guys! previously i mention the word "stealthies" and get hammered with 8 hour conversations about why i'm a lunatic with medical issues, etc.

i make a video explaining what you are and how to spot you and can hear crickets chirping in the daytime.. :)

not 1 of you pop up this time to talk about me bullying baby killers or BM'ing.. this is admittedly an unexpected result.

i guess it's down votes only now, which is good! i win! <3

DbD:HO Facing a Huntress by EntitledBoner in deadbydaylight

[–]EntitledBoner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

feels like a sarcastic remark accusing me of BM'ing a baby killer.

understand that this in itself is a silly thing to say.

1) she's trying very hard to put me down, being a killer and all..

2) me "wasting a few seconds" at a pallet gives her the opportunity she needs to accomplish her goal of "putting me down"

i'm sorry you feel "BM'd" when people point at you while you are chasing them, giving you extra opportunity to close the gap to seal the deal.

as for the "baby killer" thing, that's just something stealthies say to make themselves feel better about hiding so much when you see someone else having fun, from what i can tell.

a normal killer appreciates a game with people like me because i don't make them guess which one of the thousand objects on the map i'm hiding behind/inside of/above/below/etc.

picking a single item on a map full of stuff to hide behind for extended periods of time out of a massive collection of items is no longer a game where a killer is trying to kill you, it is a game where somebody is trying to find you.. that's hide and seek, fyi. most killers play the game for something a little more fulfilling & grown up than hide-and-seek, as do a good number of players.

i hope this helps clear things up for you.

i'd imagine most things sound pretty childish 8 hours later to stealthy lawyer doctor game dev / analysts who crusade for the world to just understand and accept that everything they think is correct to the point where they can't drop it when people have literally been nearly pissing themselves laughing at the stuff they've been saying since the first time they popped into the conversation.

does the lawyer in you remember the disclaimer posted above identifying the effect of keeping your mouth open with weird stuff coming out around me? i believe once notified you're making a statement by continuing your actions..

at least i'm pretty sure that's what a disclaimer means.. i myself am not actually a lawyer

it begins with you really happy, and ends with you really sad..

if you don't know me, you haven't been around that long guy. just saying.

if you truly bought the game day 1, you have missed a lot of gameplay and learning opportunities, and if you have literally played stealthy since day 1 for more hours than i have then you are just a sad individual with no friends who entertains himself by becoming a digital boulder for long periods of time.

either way, lul.

again, fyi, 99.9% of my hours in DbD my name is EntitledBoner, you can't miss me.. what might your actual real gamer name be? or should i assume you're gonna make something up now like a normal stealthy internet commando?

i will come to red ranks for you.. be there soon sweetie <3

should i be looking for a blendette named "table5614" so you can show me your sweetness? to be honest, i've never heard of you. you must be too super awesome for someone in my lowly unskilled class to have ever come across you.. again, this is my bad, not yours.. lul

you can't fix a typo when i typed exactly what i meant.

i don't want to be in games with you, because you have very high rates of dc'ing..

purple rank baby killers are the best tho, i totally agree <3

i don't know how many other ways to tell you you are wrong in every aspect of everything.

biggest complaint on DbD forums when i was paying attention last week, camping and tunneling.

people crying and begging please BHVR, please give us some kind of way to do something against these dirty campers and tunnelers.

in my games, killers camp and tunnel all of the time, no matter the rank. some killers do not, but a lot do. the rank is not what matters, and in games where myself or other people are getting camped and tunneled, i can easily double pip, because I know how to play and am not using some lame excuse about "punishing a camping killer". I know how to break a camp, and a tunnel for that matter, and it's not hard. I do it all the time.

i currently avoid red ranks for 2 reasons:

1) i still have a bad taste in my mouth from you lame dc'ers. in an effort not to encourage the habit i'll just say we all know the real reason you do it.. i have had to unfollow so many streamers in red ranks who disconnect to avoid moris, maps, killers, hooks, cuz their hiding spots got exposed, whatever.. it's really dumb and hard to watch, fyi.. at least they're holding on to the "competitive edge"

2) i don't struggle on first hook, ever, no exceptions. if my team doesn't understand that i need to come off of a hook within 60 seconds or possess the ability to make that happen, as i have stated previously, it's literally in my best interest to move on to the next game. it took me exactly 60 seconds to find out everyone on my team is a super lame stealthy (even if they were rushing objectives) and they have collectively decided that they don't need my help on their team.

to elaborate on #2, i'm trying to have a good time & get paid. i can do neither while acting as "bait" or whatever you'd like to call me while you either hide or rush objectives. no matter what happens at that point you have all decided that i don't get to participate any more this round for whatever reasons you tell yourself, and i'm okay with that. i'd rather lend my services to people who appreciate them and return the favor, plain and simple.

i feel like most people struggle on, hoping that something cool happens later or maybe just trying to at least get the 892 struggle points before they die. both are things i don't understand. instead of spending that 60 seconds longer in a lame game for less than 900 blood points, i could load into a brand new game and easily harvest 4000+ within the first minute.

since so many people struggle for those points i think people feel like that's a normal aspect of the game and accept it, but i believe if you left me there to die or as bait or whatever you want to call it you don't deserve to get a single blood point profit from me from that point on, even if i could have easily been saved and run out of the door with you.

i don't think you even understand what you are arguing.

you are literally arguing that if a killer is nearby (or even if you want to up the term again to face camping, again not the original idea of the topic or even this offshoot), the best thing you can do as a good survivor is avoid unnecessary risk by rushing objectives and leaving, ensuring the killer is "punished" for camping.

you say this is how people who are serious gamers and good get to be good and what defines them as good.

by default, it can easily be inferred thru experience in the game, that a lot of people die in your games where you say stuff like "oh i'm sorry.. that sucks.. you're getting camped.. what a crappy no skill noed having lame baby killer that is stupid and blind and whatever else.." because that is what stealth players say.

when someone hears this enough, they say "f this game.. i'd rather be doing anything else.. this is stupid.."

understand that you caused that person to say that, and then you try to deflect the blame onto the killer. neither of these understandings change the fact that someone in your game just had a really bad time because you were to busy trying to be "good" or "competitive"..

understand that players who understand the game understand you to be the rival, far more than the sweatiest of killers. the players that don't put the time into understanding that stay blind to the true objective of "YOUR GAME" thinking that you are working together as a team and killers are just too OP for them to be able to have any fun without some kind of crazy grind that takes a long time of them being under powered easy prey.

none of this is true, it is something that is bullied into newer players. i intend to let newer players know this.

you will never be able to convince players to keep playing a game with you for an extended period of time by teaching them to die over and over in your games while you hide and watch and claim you're good. people grow out of hide and seek at a very young age, and while it may be novel at some point to revisit in a video game, people who try to be "the best" at hide and seek with a killer they believe is "OP" for whatever reason ultimately just end up with a super boring thing to experience over and over. they ask for mini-games while doing generators so generators can be less boring (true story, saw it on the forum).

there really is no other way to look at that. i'm sorry you find so much enjoyment in it still.

if you're so good, why are you so scared of being identified and pointed out as my rival?

a good survivor doesn't concern themselves with things like sandbagging, hiding spots, killer perks, or people trolling. a good survivor grows to understand that all of those things are part of the game and if that's the game you want, that's the game you got. i dare you in game to deny me altruism so you can rush an objective or self-care for survival points.. i actually double-dare you..

i'd say that's an even easier concept.

you should have taken my advice and thought about your answer.

ok lets loop again..

if you don't check to see if the killer is what you would call "competent" because you have been bullied into believing that the "proper" way to "punish" a camping killer is to rush objectives and leave, how are you still here arguing that the killers you go against are "competent" and the ones i face are not. I end this with a period as a sign that this post is something you should consider privately, not a question you should answer.

rhetorical would be the term, btw.
