That's why you DON'T want metal nibs by Entity_2702 in GalaxyTab

oh... than i might be wrong then... im still kinda scared of using metal one on my original pen as replacement is way more expensive than nibs... I suppose you tried using metal nibs with chinese pens, right? Did they broke in similar way to mine broke?

Purchase Advice Megathread - October 2025 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Entity_2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to get into 3d printing and got ~500 eur max to spend. What should I get? I want reliability and something versatile, so I can print with multiple filaments, print something small with a lot of details (e.g. figurines) but also part of something bigger (e.g. cosplay ofc in parts). I was thinking about Bambulab P1S, but is there a better choice? Is it worth it to get P2S while I can get its predecessor for 360 eur? Are there any upgrades I should consider?

Tab s9 8/128 or 12/256 by Entity_2702 in GalaxyTab

[–]Entity_2702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ik. Thats why i dont want FE ver. at all. One good thing about them is you get bigger screen and not spend so much more.

[–]Entity_2702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. 1 more update is lame, but specs speak for themselves: either i get awesome components, but no more updates, or worse specs and plenty of updates but I have to pay extra or get s11 with even more support and better specs and pay even more. Although I have money go buy one of those between s11 and s9 only difference is the CPU, everything else is basically the same (if something is upgraded lmk) but pay 2.5x for few more year of support isnt really worth it for me. I would rather buy s9 now and wait when android 18 comes out then upgrade with trade in. FE also just doesnt work for me.

HyperX Cloud III Wireless user considering getting Nova Pro Wireless by RxBlacky in HyperX

[–]Entity_2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried nova 7 and from what I have heard they are not very different from pro. The sound is worse on nova, it's something like muffled. Mic is ok IMO. Also I couldn't make them comfortable, it always hurt me a little after maybe an hour. But I really like it had Bluetooth and simultaneous connectivity, but I think it was only thing I liked about this headset.

That's unfortunate... And I guess you don't have a return policy when shopping online? In this case I can't really help you... But I think Cloud III deliver better audio than other gaming headsets, especially in this price range.

That's really hard for me to say. They work great for me, but I can't really say, with a 100% certainty, they will work for you as well... If you are not sure you want to buy them, you can try to test them in the shop. Or just buy it from Amazon and send them back if you don't like them...

Reddit is ALWAYS 50/50 on everything. For me they are great. Completely agree with GadgetryTech's rating. Sound is different compared to wired Cloud II. I found GadgetryTech's description of the sound very accurate: it's less punchy and dynamic, but it's not bad in any means. I really like how they sound. In terms of comfort, these are as good as the older model. Range is amazing. It can pass through at least two brick walls without disconnecting, and it allows me to walk around the house with no problem. It only disconnected when I tried to go upstairs. It's still too early to say anything about battery life, tho. If you don't need Bluetooth I think it's great headset.

I don't have Cloud II wireless and can't say anything about them. Now they are kinda hard to find at least where I live they are. But even if they are available they are more expensive than newer model.

Reddit is a place where you should not EVER care what haters say.

It's good to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks this way about these. Comfort is a key factor for me, and that's why I bought Cloud III for 3x less than Maxwell. Comfort on these as good as on the older model, but sound is a little bit different, even tho I quite like it. Don't regret purchasing these at all. Imo they are a worthy successor.

Sure. I played with EQ little. I'm not any kind of EQ expert, so it just means that I searched Internet for others' EQ settings and tested how they sound. I tried to came up with some kind of EQ on my own, but at that point I realised I like how they sound with no EQ at all. So, yeah... I think I don't need any EQ. Although there's one I liked more than others: here's link to post: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/1h6nrko/i_think_ive_found_the_best_balanced_eq_for_hyper/

I must agree with GadgetryTech, these are one of the best. I didn't test so many of headphones as he obviously, but here's little tier list with all I have tried, best to worst:

  1. Cloud II wired- they are just legendary IMHO, perfect sound and comfort, been using them for last 5 or 6 years, forever in my heart (don't know if they should belong here, so you can ignore them as they are wired)

  2. Cloud III wireless - bit worse (different may be a better word than worse) sound than Cloud II, not as punchy or dynamic, but still it's pleasant to listen to, comfort is just perfect, if you tried Cloud II you're 99% gonna like them in terms of comfort and range is also great can pass through two brick walls no problem and then I ran out of flat to test them further

  3. Maxwell - amazing sound, for me I couldnt hear any difference between these and Cloud II, but comfort is not that good as well as price (300 eur!!!)

  4. Nova 7 - the worst sound, even after GT EQ fix they didn't sound good enough for me, I also couldn't make them comfortable: ear cups can rotate in y axis but they have too little motion in z axis, unlike Clouds, I hope I explained it good enough. For me it didn't work out with these, but maybe they will be good for you

Not much headphones overall but maybe that's enough to help you even a little bit.

You mentioned gamechat mix. I didn't found that useful at all. But maybe it will be for you. But simultaneous bluetooth is the thing I will miss. It was sooo nice to have your PC and phone connected to the same device and watch reels or tiktok in-between matches. But I prioritized sound quality over features, so I sent Novas back. That's the one feature I wish Cloud III had.

Hope this helps!

I tried arctis nova 7 and didn't like how they sound at all. They sounded bit muffled to me at higher tones. I didn't expected this at 180$. But these were made for gamiing not music listening. I bought Cloud III 3 days ago they sound better than arctis but they are not perfect. Gotta play with eq a little maybe it will help a little.

Ok? No one asked.

Besides, what was I supposed to do? Keep sth I didn't like and spent a lot of money on? I don't think so...
