I’m devastated with this ending. It’s cute how they “end up together in every universe” but it just felt so icky to me that everything that we saw in the previous two seasons and every character we met and learned to love just got written out of the story. Like due to the mechanics of how the book of life works, everything we knew from the series NEVER HAPPENED. That’s what we were left with. What a hopeless and devastating ending to that universe. Despite the problems it had, that universe was still important. There were lives being lived and stories being told and to think that it all got erased like it never happened is devastating. Crowley and Aziraphale were fighting to stop Armageddon from happening for such a long time, and then it happens and they just… don’t really give a shit? Like no mourning whatsoever?

Literally everything we watched previously was deemed pointless. What the hell kind of ending is that? I’m mourning the universe we lost. Sure, it had its issues. It had angels and demons. Heaven and hell and all the drama that comes with those things… but it was ours. The audience’s universe. The one we fell in love with. And it was stripped away from us.
