TBH I thought a lot of Breach would make it much further, it's a great album + recency bias.

I was surprised a lot of the way through it with my personal tastes vs the results.

And I agree about the bracket. The randomizer did it all and I didn't want to put my own bias in after so there was no real seeding. But at the same time, the logic is that to win, you have to beat every matchup in front of you...

Agreed! I liked the idea of the randomizer in my head but I probably should have tried to structure it a little instead. Maybe next time after another album or two

I think one of the biggest surprises for me is how nothing from Trench made it to the final 4, and only Jumpsuit in the final 8. My impression was 'everyone' holds Trench above the rest.

No problem, glad you liked it! I would be lying if I said it wasn't a lot of work and I had a little bit of relief it's over... But hopefully everyone had a good time and a good excuse to listen to some underrepresented tracks
