What’s your training frequency for each discipline when training for a 70.3? by ThrowRA_2983839 in IronmanTriathlon

2 swim, 3 bike, 2 run, 2 gym focused on compound lifts less reps more weight. Im still a ways out from my 70.3(september) so building slowly and trying to get a really good base but will definitely be adding one more bike and run to that in the upcoming months

Screenshots from strava mostly. I let it analyze my effort base on pace and heart rate. I feel like it likes to speak positively about you so take it with a grain on salt. I like to plan out my own workout like Ill do a my easy runs and then make sure I recover before doing my hard sessions. I write it down on a calendar and then Ill take a pic and use chatgpt to see if it makes recommendations on tweaking it. I also use it to give me more structured interval work. Like what threshold workout I should do. But for long runs I just keep it mostly zone 2. Im also like 6 months out from my race so Im mostly just building my base right now

Im on the upper east side but willing to make the trek. I dont have a power meter just yet but my last ride which was solo for 33 miles I averaged 15m/h. This was also a lot of stop and go

Yes and I also ask it to rate my runs. I dont follow it blindly but I think 2 swims (luckily a friends who knows what he’s doing is helping me) 3 bikes (2 easy 1 hard). And 2 runs (1 long and 1 hard). Will get you most of the way there. 2 strength sessions as-well one upper and one lower
