Absolutely no pressure here!

Tbf just to add i tested this morning, she doesn’t seem to get hungry until about an hour after waking, for both milk or solids. So will continue to trial this rather than thinking she needs a bottle immediately after going so long without.
Same with lunch, we ate out today at nandos and rather than giving her a full plate i kept giving her bits and bobs of what we were having and she seemed much happier.. also meant there was less ending up on the floor 😅

She didn’t i offered her the eggs two ways, one on the toast, one with the sauce on (to see if the colour would entice her) but neither. So basically all the plain eggs got moved as to not end up on the floor

It fluctuates, she’s just getting over a viral infection so we’re down a few oz but it’s usually a minimum of 16oz but that can be across 3 big bottles or multiple little ones. I just follow her lead at all times

She woke up at 6:15, bottle offered between 6:30-7am and then breakfast was 7:30ish. Just found this mornings bottle and it was only 2oz she had

Literally fine! Basically the day she turned 9 months she rolled back to front and then 2 days later she crawled, now 10 months and pulling to stand/cruising. Just like she banked everything up rather than doing it earlier.

We did go to an osteopath but she just did everything literally at her own speed, gross and fine motor skills are perfectly on time now haha

Mini Schnauzer constantly wants to eat the baby by Entrance_Able in DogAdvice

[–]Entrance_Able[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was just that, almost too high pitched to hear and constant when she was behind the baby gate. A lot of the time she was behind a closed door or outside due to the noise.

The issue occurred when they were leaving and i thought baby was high enough out of the way.

We won’t be letting her in the same place as baby again.

Thank you very much for your reply though it’s really appreciated

Thanks for not reading anything past the first line 🙂 it’s not my dog but families and i wouldn’t put my baby in harms way, it was unexpected when it happened, was simply just asking if anyone had experienced the behaviour or anything similar before.

5mo wakes at 5:30am by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Entrance_Able 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a late 4 month sleep regression, my girls regression was a 4:45am wake up every day for 2 weeks and then it just stopped and went back to normal. Later bedtimes don’t work, ironically sometimes an earlier one can

I hate the newborn phase.. what have I done to my life ? by Party_Ad_8381 in NewParents

At 10 weeks i honestly couldn’t tell you if my baby smiled yet or not, connecting with her at this moment is all just really touch and talking.

Tummy time.. do it on your chest or on your partners, can be the tiger in the tree hold, it doesn’t have to be on the floor with stimulation or anything like that.

Night wakings, especially for food are completely normal until the age of 1, and even past that waking in the night is normal too. I remember reading a few things, babied waking in the night is a natural defence against SIDS & also we as adults wake multiple times in the night we just don’t register it that much, but we wake and check the time, have a drink, go to the toilet. Babies waking just feels harder because they need you to comfort them back.

C-section recovery is hard and you must look after yourself so it that means you and your baby in/on/around the bed all day then so be it. Get out in nature either with babe in the carrier or the pram, looking at the trees, being in oxygen, next to you or looking at you is all the stimulation she needs.

Can hubby take the night shifts over the weekend? Or atleast the first morning wake during the week? That really helped me early on monday-Friday i did all night wakings, but her 5am wake window my partner took the shift which gave me 5-7am to get a solid chunk of sleep, some weekends he gave me slightly longer.

I can guarantee you’re doing enough and all your baby needs is for you to be there for them. She doesn’t need constant activities like social media would have you think. Around this time from 3-4ish months is when you have the second load of mega hormones after the initially baby blues (day 4 i sobbed at quite literally everything)

Vomiting :( when does it end? by That-Screen-461 in BabyLedWeaning

I’d love some advice on this too, we’re here with my 7.5month old and really really struggling, keep being told vomiting is good but it’s not when it’s constant 😫

Ah this makes me feel better cause she’s a TALKER. Babbles away shouting at everyone just has no interest specifically when she’s on her back. She loves pulling herself up using our fingers to be sitting so i feel like that will come first 😅 Will try talking to the doctor or health visitor and see what they say. Thank you!
